yeah, live and let die is seriously spectacular. the rapping is immaculate - you can really see his influence on later rappers, especially (for me at least) Bun B, who is one of my favorite rappers. and the beats are ridiculous as well.

Yeah I only enjoyed oldschool really. I got out of the rap thing in the late 90's, and I'm glad I did coz theres a bunch of godawful stuff around now

im fairly young - 19 - and i didnt really like rap till a few years ago. i like old school stuff - old NY stuff, old southern stuff - but i also like a lot of new stuff, idk. nowadays i like southern rap more than anything else.

some old school rap is cute but the overbearing awkwardness of it makes me want to shoot myself

thats my biggest problem. i love movies that prove a point, but it just hits you in the face with it. it's like someone explaining their own jokes.
