I have a hard time staying awake in one of my classes, too. I think I'm going to take my laptop and work on essays for other classes today.

I used to do that all the time.

Just make sure you get done in the class what you need to and its not an issue.

BenJammin 10-12-2006 07:20 AM

Oh yeah. I've got an essay in this class due on the 25th, so I've got my priorities. I'd work on that one, but I have one that's due a few days before it.

How long do they have to be?

BenJammin 10-12-2006 07:26 AM
How long do they have to be?
Not long at all. I've got a 1000 word one for my literary analysis class, a 1200 word one for my development of science fiction class and another 2000 word short story to go with that, and then I've got a couple of 1000 word philosophy papers due next month.

I don't really have any big papers this semester.

All easily do able.

I am hunting around for something interesting online to kill some time.

Most stuff is blocked at work. Any suggestions?

BenJammin 10-12-2006 07:33 AM

I have no idea. You could always try http://www.i-am-bored.com/ if that's not blocked.

I spend most of my time online looking at the lutherie and bass section of talkbass, getting ideas for my build.

BenJammin 10-12-2006 07:42 AM

No idea, sorry.

I've gotta run for class, though.

Have a good day!

Have a good one.

blizzard 10-12-2006 07:58 AM

Grrr my maths teacher is making our whole class hand in a maths assignment each week. No other class in the school has to do it

katana_manatee 10-12-2006 08:32 AM

At least it should ensure you study and be good at the end of the year though.

Our class has technically finished the curicullum... he's just setting these to be annoying and somehow they actaully count to our grades too

Jimbobntnr 10-12-2006 09:40 AM

hello, all.

I was here.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 10:13 AM

4 hours ago when my alarm went off to wake me for school, I pretty much felt like dying, so I didn't go in. I only got up about 20 minutes ago.

Being sick sucks.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 10:19 AM

Tenacious D is coming to town... but it's sooo damn much. $50. I'm not sure if that'll be worth it. I saw them once several years ago and it was great, but it definitely wasn't $50.

kilian 10-12-2006 10:23 AM

DAMN.

That's a lot! If they were like 15, I would have seen them if I was you. I don't like paying a lot for concerts though..

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 10:26 AM

The other time I saw them was almost 5 years ago when their first album came out, I think tickets were only 20 or 25 dollars.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 10:56 AM

So this is how sick I am: my throat is in so much pain that I've been eating a bagel for nearly an hour. I'm so hungry but I don't have any soup or stuff like that in my house. :(

lemoley 10-12-2006 12:16 PM

hello MX

the101er 10-12-2006 12:28 PM

blizzard, where abouts in brisbane you from?

ebe9 10-12-2006 12:31 PM

Evening all.

101, you might want to post that later so that it does not get swallowed up in all the other posts from this evening when its gets busier.

That way he will catch it tomorrow.

Aerodyne 10-12-2006 12:35 PM

Eagerly anticipating my new strings. :D I hope I'm not let down by them, I'm worried that they might be too heavy. I'm using 45-105's now, how much of a difference will 55-110's make?

Polyamarous 10-12-2006 12:36 PM

Evening people.

Has anyone tried those wonder berries?

lemoley 10-12-2006 12:37 PM

hey ebe

aero: quite alot i should think, i went from 40's to 45's and i could tell the difference hugely
