Woah Woah. You can get Tetris on calculators?
Yeah, on those graphic ones.

Shattered_Future 12-27-2005 06:10 PM

The latest one at my school is Super Mario, on a goddamn calculator.

I decided not to get it, simply because my grades would drop immensely.

Jev 12-27-2005 06:11 PM

Man, what's the actual name of the calculator with Tetris on. I'm buying one to use in every maths lesson.

Stoic 12-27-2005 06:11 PM

I used to draw inverted crosses with fires and little devils around when I was bored at school :(

TI calculators?

I never really played tetris on them, I always played Block Dude more than tetris. I should buy one, but some of my classes supply them.
Drunk. My dad's talking about pickles right now.
 Awesome. My dad's drunk aswell, we shared a bottle of rosy and he started giving me a sex talk

For people trying to get Tetris on their calculator, you need something like a TI-83 or neweer (I've got a TI-83 Plus I think). There's a site where you can get the games on to your calculator by transferring the program via USB, I'll have a look after this post. Blockdude is alot better than Tetris though.

Nostalgia 12-27-2005 06:23 PM

Yea, their texas Instrument I believe.

TI83+

My old school was always trying to get us to buy them.

Interesting stuff. I must buy one.

Your dad gave a sex talk... How old are you?

Bazarov 12-27-2005 06:26 PM

They cost quite a bit, but they're great. In chemistry kids that had them would program the calculator to solve the chemistry equations and such, same with math. But myself, and my father, we're too cheap to go out and buy one.

Yeah dude, Blockdude is awesome. It's like Mario, but with blocks. Mario 2, I guess.

Best one though is Doom. (Yeah an fps on a calc.) and FPhoenix And it is a TI-83 or up. Then you have to buy a usb upgrade.(TI-84 silver edition Plus and up already have it)

Doom on a calculator? That's outrageous. The most exciting things possible on the calculators we get at school are trying to spell stuff in letters; words like 'boobs' for example.

NP: Chopin - Scherzo No 1 Op 20 in b minor
Heh. I love it when they try and talk to you about it at that age.
My parents have never mentioned it to me. I'm 17 now, so I don't think they're gonna bother. Pointless if they did really.
Yes Doom on a calculator. It's freaking multiplayer as well. I mean how much better can it get. Playing doom in class with your buddy. Of course you'll fail but thats a small price to pay.

NP- Hallowed be thy Name (If you don't know the artist i will skullf*ck you until you die and it isn't a cover)

/in a better mood

Man for such an uneventful day, it sure has been...eventful.

Does that make sense?

I have a TI-83+ so I can't actually get games onto my calc. myself without paying extra money for the USB upgrade you speak of. I just get them off my friends because I've got a cable that lets me get them off of other calculators. Because of this I've only got Tetris and Block Dude though.

Hehe yeah, I usually just play dumb and go along with it. I couldn't bear my dad asking me questions about things that I've done with girls.
