His fans would find it hilarious.

dancetomdance182 12-11-2005 04:25 PM

I just saw Relient K's Hard Rock Live, and the lead singer/guitarist/keyboard player uses the Tom Delonge Gibson. Sorry if this is old.

FauxApathy 12-11-2005 04:27 PM

Eh, tom's cocky about every single record he releases?

Don't you remember when S/T was being released?
"It will Cause Peace On Earth"

With that in mind, two more days until Valkerye Missile.

10 songs at 1 hour means that on average a song would run for 6 minutes! Or maybe there's one huge song and the rest are shorter? Hmm...

Surtr 12-11-2005 07:53 PM

I meant GNR meets BCR as in like..Tom said AVA would be kinda like..Arena Rock only bigger. And in a way GNR was an Arena Rock band. I just looked at it like..Box Car Racer, with some GNR type rock influences, and as big as GNR.

plaidbassbilly 12-11-2005 08:09 PM

Haha no, I mean like one 15 minute song or something, and the rest for 3-4 minutes.

10571z 12-11-2005 08:10 PM

Yeah, that wouldn't be too bad.

Normally long songs are the better songs. More epic. Short songs tend to be fast and energetic.

Me. I'm taking my younger brother, it will be his first time seeing a live band. I think The Living End are worthy of being his first live band.

Do you think Angels And Airwaves would come to Australia?

dancetomdance182 12-11-2005 08:58 PM

All songs are going to be around 6 mins. Tom said that in an interview.

World Tour makes me think Australia is included.

I don't the song length will matter that much. Streetlight Manifesto managed to keep all of their songs interesting, and most of them are in the 4-6 minute range.

DJ Ducksauce 12-11-2005 10:23 PM

You'd think AVA would go to Australia. Blink did say they liked Australia the best if I recall correctly.

Every band that comes to Australia bags the shit out of Sydney while in Melbourne, and the other way round. Same with Australia and New Zealand.
