I can play Freewill, but that's it for me in the way of Rush.

I can play a few songs. Once uni is over I'm gonna get my band completed and practicing some good songs. :thumb:

On bass I can play anything you guys throw at me EXCEPT for some Jaco songs.

I play it on bass, I'm pretty good at the solo too, but it still needs work.

How is Storm Of The Lights Bane? I'm not big on Symphonic Black, excluding ITNE, so I never checked it out. As long as it's cold, raw and grim though, I should enjoy it.

No symphonics. People actually consider SOTLB melodic death. I'd say it's black. It's grim like Darkthrone but far more sophisticated. Excellent drumming, great guitar playing. I would highly reccomend it for you. :thumb:

Dissection don't play symphonic black metal, so you should be okay. It's like melodic death metal, but heavily blackened. And it has a core as cold as any.

I love each song on that cd. And they're all around 5-6 minutes so thats an added bonus.

Where Dead Angels Lie is one of the best songs ever. I nominated it as one of the best 100 songs but it didn't make it.

So, yeah. It is raining quite heavily today. Quite heavily indeed. And I had to get up at 5.45 today, as that was when a work truck that needs access to my neighbours yard was meant to be arriving to tear down my fence. So I had to be up to make sure they didn't destroy to much. But of course, they don't want to work in the rain, which means I wasted my only sleep-in day away. :(

I wish I had a band, but all the musicians that I know are into different styles of music. :(

(I have recorded the song Retribution before though on all instruments and vocals, except I forced my friend to do the drumming because I suck at double peddles.)

Lead guitar, i'm planning on adding vocals to Where Dead Angels Lie when i get a chance, though my vocal skills are mediocre at best.
