Ray-wtf are you doing in a rock and metal forum?
He listens to rock (supposedly), but not metal... so really, he's fine.

It's just that the petty argument starting that he's become notorious for the past month is really killing the community's spirit, and I (along with others) am getting sick of it.

Because he likes rock music. A gang beatdown is not what is needed here either. Jom pwned him thoroughly. Tempting though it may to pile other, inferior points on top of the ultimate pwnage, it serves no purpose except to ruin the mood further.

 That's funny.
Or I'll ban every mother****ing one of you.
Also sounded funny.

Well, I have to thank AntiHero for saying that. Even if you did make a few stupid generalizations. In fact, I've "complained" about metal once...it wasn't even complaining, it was pointing out why I wasn't even a big fan. I haven't called anyone in here racist unless I was kidding.

Of course, I'm not sure why any of you couldn't have said that earlier. I would have appreciated honesty over pretending to like me.

Also, the Other Music thread is deader than Eazy-E.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-04-2005 04:37 PM

Question-Could someone reccomend me a good hockey video game?

/random

Jom 04-04-2005 04:38 PM

This is frustrating. That's not what the intention was. The point was that the petty arguments you seem to want to initiate are retarded.

It's one thing to have a healthy argument/discussion, but to not recognize that people are making points is just childish, especially when you know you've been proven wrong (it's okay, it happens... and besides, it's the Internet, not a job interview).

Frantic = subjective!

I like you fine. Just because we have a problem doesn't mean we hate you. I tried to explain this to Dargon but he couldn't handle the truth so he left. I'd like to think you're slightly more mature than his 15-year-old *** and will hear what we say while understanding that by no means do I, at least, hate you, nor was I "pretending to like you". Sometimes people turn into a total asshat for a month. I did for a bit. They get a reality check and they move on as a better person (or poster). That's all you needed, I'm pretty sure. It's not like I thought you were a piece of **** this whole time. But you have developed some rather asinine traits that weren't there previously over the past month, and it was very irritating. That's all. Among them are this whole thing of the petty arguments, such as constantly getting on madey's case the other night just 'cause she doesn't want to be Mrs. Threesome, and a host of other things.

Illmatic 04-04-2005 04:47 PM

Of course, I always thought one of the biggest things about being friends with other people would be to forgive them for whatever character flaws they may have. As you can plainly see, I am a proud and passionate person. I often draw myself into conflicts that I probably shouldn't, and because I don't like to admit I'm wrong, they often escalate. However, I always cool down afterwards.

Now, the good thing to do here would be to wait for me to cool down, but instead you give me the figurative kick out the door, make broad, sweeping generalizations about me, and then somehow victimize yourself by making it seem like I have accused you of racism or that I will in the near future. Really classy.

The solution to this problem is to turn your internet off.

Also, because of the anonymous nature of the website, and because we don't have an "I will slay you all if you say one more harsh word to me" smiley, I had no idea that you needed to "cool down." and to not say anything else. And surely you can understand that anger and class rarely go together, and if AntiHero reached the breaking point with your (seeming) insistance on continuing to provoke us, his response wasn't going to have tons of bull**** floating around it.
