what are u talking about...do you have some peni s cheese in your ears when you listen to them. Their guitar work is kinda averge, but Danny on drums is amazing, and Justin on Bass is awesome aswell. Plus the song writeing is top notch. One of the very few bands played on the local radio station I like
|
drums is acceptable. rest is boring. like i said. its all the same song.
plus tool fans are all rabid douches |
eating a ham and cheese sandwich
nmu |

distinctly lacking in party though |

plus tool fans are all rabid douches
so true |
i hate it when they act like tool is the most prog/stoner/trippy/occult band in the world
|
you're so pretty the way you are
|
tool fans aren't even half as bad as the average metalhead.
|
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Slipknot fans at their gigs weren't as moronic as I'd thought they be.
+1 faith in society. |
Josh I love now that you have all these metalhead generalizations that are ok for you to say because you grew out of the genre.
|
except it's true. 99% of metalheads are annoying idiots. i don't really get what you mean there.
|
lol I'm sure you would know
I don't see how that's true at all, have you ever been to a metal show? People are cool and chill with each other even though they don't know each other. What I mean is that you would never say anything like that back when you actually listened to the genere, and that ex-metalheads convince themselves of this bs for some reason. |
he's too cool for metal now
|

Sup doods?
|
chilling out waiting to watch some Obama.
|
I wonder if that'll be on in the UK.
When's it supposed to be on? |
Sick of hearing about Obama tbh. Oh well, since america apparently elected god, it's to be expected
|
lol
I wonder if that'll be on in the UK. When's it supposed to be on?
there's streams all over. idk i'd be celebrating too if bush was finally gone.
i mean, in spite of my hate for political dilettantism and green-day-intellectuals, the guy was pretty bad at his job. |
Howdy.
I had a busy day at work. Good to be home, esepcially since I can do jack **** now. Sup? |
nm, in class hearing my philosophy prof (conveniently named professor wiseman) ramble on about stuff i dont care about
|
dear tyler,
stop messing around on the internet and pay attention to class love, professor wiseman |
Prof Wiseman. That's very appropriate!
What is he lecturing about? I'm listening to some October Tide, since I recommended it to someone a few days ago. I love re discovering music. |
Prof Wiseman. That's very approriate!
What is he lecturing about?
Descartes's meditations with random tangents on interactionism, and other mind/body theories. |
that's actually really interesting stuff.
|
it's okay, now he's just talking about arbitrary characteristics like smell and how you can't assign a value to smell, ie: 10 smelleronies (his words, not mine)
|
Descartes's meditations with random tangents on interactionism, and other mind/body theories.
I always found Descartes to be quite interesting. I still have some Nietzsche laying arounfd and two books on the history of philosophy. But currently I'm reading the Qu'ran. It's quite an easy read actually, although I can see it getting boring since it just seems like an endless list of things-to-do and things-to-do-not-do. And since I can't read any Arabic, I guess the interesting story telling structure will also be lost to me. Oh well.
it's okay, now he's just talking about arbitrary characteristics like smell and how you can't assign a value to smell, ie: 10 smelleronies (his words, not mine)
I love how one can come up with absurd terms and get away with it...in the name of philosophy. |
The Qu'ran is beautifully written for the most but pretty much doesn't say anything. It's pretty vague. At least that's how I remember it.
The best part about Nietzsche is the guy was a total nutjob. People don't realize he was completely insane and out of his mind. The guy basically had syphilis his entire life so his writings were mostly just rambling side-effects |
