Ah, yes, I thought the ride looked odd. That's because it's new.

Aux bass drum? Cool.
Its a 20" Zildjian Avedis Platinum ride. Fairly rare.

16" Aux bass ;)

That could be another reason the ride looks odd.

I like aux bass drums. I want one. Or two ;)

trysthedrummer 10-29-2006 02:51 PM

Indeed. Its the best ride ive heard. I want a 20" HH Rock/Leapord/Raw Dry Ride or mebe a 22" HH Power bell ride ride to go alongside it.

Coolio.

I want too many things to list.

Drum Phil 10-29-2006 03:05 PM

Although, right now, I should be practising. I have to play first thing tomorrow morning in Rhythm Section Skills, and I don't think I can play the beat. Mostly cos I suck at doubles. It's cool. I'll ghost the first double of the snare instead. The guy won't care. Better simple and consistent than complicated and erratic.

Janeway 10-29-2006 03:19 PM

Hmm...I actually got a wallet.

A cheap $15 one from JC Penny that makes my look like I've got a tumor on my thigh.

Bonham#1! 10-29-2006 03:20 PM

two words: *** pocket.

Then you would have an *** tumor though

Janeway 10-29-2006 03:22 PM

Yeah. Girls jeans suck. =/

Sunshine 10-29-2006 03:22 PM

On the rare occasion I actually have back pockets [skirts generally don't come with pockets, and I've more of those than pants], I hate putting things in them ><

And sitting with a wallet in your back pocket can be really bad for your spine.

Drum Phil 10-29-2006 03:27 PM

And your ass.

Bonham#1! 10-29-2006 03:30 PM

How can it be bad for your spine?

raz0r 10-29-2006 03:32 PM
Im sure gavin uses coated equarians, I don't know what type I havent looked into it
If you're talking about Gavin Harrison, he uses Coated Emperors on toms, with an Emperor X on snare.

maniac0796 10-29-2006 03:33 PM

It makes you sit at an angle, curving your spine.

My friend has a crippled spine or something. He has to wear a really thin insole in his shoe. I was amazed that such a small thing can make such a difference. He can't walk if he doesn't wear it for about 20 mins.

Loser 10-29-2006 03:33 PM
How can it be bad for your spine?
Well, it would raise the right or left part of your lower body, while your upper body remains straight, causing the spine to constantly be slightly bent.

and his toms sound better then anyone elses.

Dave*Grohl 10-29-2006 03:36 PM

you could really hurt your spine if your other asscheek is bigger

Dave*Grohl 10-29-2006 04:33 PM

Im listening to the smashing pumpkins, i really like how their drummer plays...jimmy chamberlin or something like that is he?

Maggot Dream 10-29-2006 04:35 PM

Yup, good drummer. Gish is my favorite Pumpkins album.

Sync0pation 10-29-2006 04:36 PM

Jimmy Chamberlain is great. My drum teacher told me he was the best drummer in his genre, I was wtf? But he is really good.

Siamese dream is my fav from him. flams ftw!

Time 10-29-2006 04:37 PM

Man, Ghostwriter by RJD2 is such a tight song.

Dave*Grohl 10-29-2006 04:44 PM

I have the machina album and greatest hits. Hes really tight player and his fills are so cool

Cocaberry 10-29-2006 04:47 PM
I have the machina album and greatest hits. Hes really tight player and his fills are so cool
Yeah, and he's actually got good technique.. unlike some here.

BTW, how's that wrist? Hand still numb? HAHAHAHAHahahaha.

Janeway 10-29-2006 04:48 PM

Sweet. I've got my liscence, a valid library card, an invalid library card, my school I.D., and $25 Canadian. I have no money.

Or enough cards.

Dave*Grohl 10-29-2006 04:49 PM

How about that cocaberry?

My wrist fine thank you. You really should do some research before saying things like that?

Berk 10-29-2006 05:04 PM

I just took a double flush crap. WOOT.

Dave*Grohl 10-29-2006 05:08 PM
