Angmar 01-19-2009 09:42 PM

Nostalgia 01-19-2009 09:46 PM

Angmar 01-19-2009 09:47 PM

Haha so true.

no, but he will have tons of respiratory problems from breathing in all of the fumes he does at work.

he's sure smarter than all of us, going right into the workforce and not even dealing with school.

Nostalgia 01-19-2009 09:50 PM

i think youre thinking of EINSIEG

pate 01-19-2009 09:50 PM
I'm considering civil engineering, but architecture seems like a nice path as well. Plus the classes are very appealing to me, only 1 trimester of math is required and a lot of the courses sound very interesting. Plus travelling to Rome for studying abroad would be awesome. Civil Enigneering requires a shit load of math classes like Calculus which I just don't even want to think about...
Calculus is no big deal.

I've had:
Calc I
Calc II
Calc III
Linear Algebra
Differential Equations

That's all the math you need for civil. After my sophomore year I was done.

Of course working civil problems require math, but I mean those are all the math courses you need.

EINSIEG 01-19-2009 09:51 PM

lol math

hismajestythepope 01-19-2009 09:53 PM

lol welding school

Angmar 01-19-2009 09:53 PM

I'm honestly just mathphobic, I'm only in Algebra 2 and I struggle with it. Knowing that I could go down a career path that is interesting to me and only have to take a trimester of Math 101 is very appealing. :p

Wearing respirators blow, especially in 95 degree weather.

EINSIEG 01-19-2009 10:06 PM

Working inside an air conditioned warehouse ftw.

you are a mere 4 hours away from me. want 2 cyber?

1338 h4x0r 01-19-2009 10:10 PM

Welding, particularly underwater welding, can be very dangerous.

I think if I ever flunk out of school (heavens forfend), my safety net will be dental hygiene or radiography or something.
