Went to a show (ETID, FYS, PBC, TUI, TWY....figure out the bands for yourselves mother****ers) but didn't actually go because i got in line and then everyone was told to leave because the show was already packed, and i kept screaming I JUST CLIMBED MOUNT BUMMER and everyone sat around in the parking lot not knowing where to go afterward, and i now consider the facebook message from the promoter telling people not to bother buying tickets online to be some sort sick april fool's joke even though i don't think it was.

hahahahhaha, i heard tui cancelled that date anyways.

yeah well a bunch of 14 year old sluts that were there for four year strong that showed up early to get their titties signed filled up the hall before i even got close to the doors and the only way i could take it out on them was a nice walk through the woods off campus and listening to give up the ghost ont he ride back.

so yeah i wouldn't know anything about TUI cancelling. I was there for Polar Bear Club anyway even though they probably only played a bunch of lame new **** + Parked In The Parking Lot which I would have used as an opportunity to lay on some dude's heads.

Polar Bear Club only played 6 songs, because apparently their bass player broke his knee. So it's probably better that you saved $15 if that was the only reason you were going.

Yeah, the upside is that I now have 15 dollars to spend on Pissed Jeans in Cleveland in a few weeks, as well as SYG/CBK/Title Fight.

They played here like 4 months ago.

one of the times that i screamed about climbing MOUNT BUMMER some dude said he was about that distance from the door when he was turned away. sucks bro. the facebok message sent by the promoter before the show made it seem like it just wouldn't sell out. i'm seein the bright side in not going though, i'm currently drowning all of those sorrows away in iced tea.

Was the message sent before or after the venue change? Because Forward Hall would have been able to do way more people I think. There were probably around 400 something people there last night, and I've heard Forward Hall did over 700 for Shockwave a couple years back.

It didn't seem that big, although there is a lot of room to hang out away from the main stage area. Forward Hall is really deceiving because of that upper area and whatever. I suppose the Hangout might just be way more strict about capacity, too.

Also, just as a side note, someone should teach a stagediving class in Erie. I've never seen so many people get up on stage, walk around awkwardly and then fall back into the crowd.

Jim we should get strung out and start a mysterious guy hardcore band!

I'd be down. I like playing music when I'm ****ed up, and mysterious guy hardcore probably comes natural when you can't think straight.

I'm going to start writing reviews for good hardcore on the review portion of this site. The selection is so bare, and it's easy to get a hype train going on this website. I want to break the hype.
