Yuri, ancient Ron secret:

How bowl of water, towel over your head, hover over it

shortz 11-17-2011 01:28 PM

Basically it's a simultaneous negotiation with three or more parties over a variety of issues and they try to reach a resolution acceptable to those involved.

I'm a conflict resolution major but this is for my Negotiation Theory and Practice course.

I could go for some tea with honey, so chilly outside and I feel a tickle in my throat.

Lol, yeah, I did that earlier this week. It helped a bit, I guess, but it probably takes more than one go to clear everything up. :\

Wow, you don't hear that every day. Got any idea on what kind of direction you'd like to take that in as a job after college?

fingers mccoy 11-17-2011 01:37 PM

nasal douching is the future

The plan is to get into mediation. I'm more attracted to the interpersonal side of it though as opposed to say, unions and whatnot, although that is definitely where more of the money is. I guess I should keep my options open though 'cause you never know.

One thing which attracted me about that degree is it isn't specific to one career - there's a multitude of other paths I could take, and plus it's extremely applicable to real life/everyday situations.

I really think a lot of people could highly benefit from taking a CRS course or two in their lifetime.

Morumbar 11-17-2011 01:59 PM

Haha, I can kinda see where you're coming from. A lot of times I'm the mediator when my mom and my brother are fighting or when there's a dispute between classmates who have gossiped behind each other's back. Some people seem to really need a bit of help to try to see things from another's point of view.

been playing Portal 2 all morning

shortz 11-17-2011 02:07 PM

^ I saw a demo/video of the first one and it looks really interesting. Also I dig that "Still Alive" song from Rockband whatever number it is, so creepy.

Exactly and sometimes, that's all it takes.

Haz 11-17-2011 02:10 PM

I finished the first one in one sitting, it was that good. This is a lot better in a number of significant ways though.

need to cough up 2 or 3 grand so I can do a correspondence course

shortz 11-17-2011 02:14 PM

Did I read a while ago that you may want to go backpacking? Any ideas on where potentially?

Morumbar 11-17-2011 02:18 PM

I want to come with.

Nah, but seriously, me and a friend are planning to go to New Zealand and possibly Australia to go on a few backpacking trips after college.

Angmar 11-17-2011 02:22 PM

I would love to backpack the Himalayas.

RouteOne 11-17-2011 02:23 PM

I want to go snow shoeing in the Adirondacks but all of my friends are pussies and don't want to

illmitch 11-17-2011 02:24 PM

lots of nice mountains in kansas

shortz 11-17-2011 02:26 PM

Mountain scenery is so beautiful, really wish we had places like that here.

Fucking Prairies.

I just wanna travel someplace cool. Me and my friend have been trying (and failing) to plan a trip to Hong Kong in the (hopefully) near future.

Stevie 11-17-2011 02:26 PM

i hate it when people get babies or their dog or some other retard to talk to you on the phone or type something to you

wow a load of jibberish how cute

fuck off

Angmar 11-17-2011 02:27 PM

I may go to Japan if I have the money this summer, but who knows.

Pussies indeed. My girlfriends friend has a cabin in Whister (where they hosted the Vancouver Olympics) and we'll be going up there for a weekend of adventure in December.

shortz 11-17-2011 02:30 PM

Who the fuck gets their dog on the phone?

Angmar 11-17-2011 02:32 PM

If I was to go back to China I'd like to go to Harbin during their ice sculpture festival.

Vast, empty looking stretches can be pretty amazing too, but in a different way.

There's barely even any sizeable bit of nature left in the Netherlands.
