eai is fantastic there though so fuck it my friend's avg ratings for deathpile's GR is a 4 haz. you actually lowered it. but that's since the other person who rates it 5s shit like A Serbian Film (wiki it). probs won't look into it. |

"This release will only be available on vinyl and features two tracks from the soon-to-be-released album 'A Cross Of Wheat' which is the first of the upcoming trilogy 'Die Ästhetik der Herrschaftsfreiheit': classy black 10" vinyl with elaborate (laser-engraved) etching on the B-side coverprint on specially thick paper (300g, matt) exclusive 10" extended mix of 'Our Holy Rue' strictly limited to 999 copies Gone! Gone are the days of mellow and lush ballads, it seems - for this is Rome at its rawest! As an artist JeRome Reuter remains completely unpredictable, which may come as a shock to those who discovered Rome as a Chanson Noir outfit: What you are looking for is gone for good! 'Our Holy Rue' is a harsh, industrial beauty: relentless and uncompromising. And the rather folkish song 'The Merchant Fleet' is an instant classic, dedicated to JeRome's brotherhood of the sea!" From: http://www.infrarot.de/index.php?page=home-a-2008764 I thought Rome was going to go on a long break, so I'm a little surprised to find that there's a soon-to-be-released album. I am looking forward to it, though. Back to industrial it is, apparently. |

2) be inconsistent with formats. for the experts: every release should come in a different size of vinyl. i.e. start with a 10", then a quadruple 7", then an LP with accompanying acetate, then a 10"+12", etc. 3) limit each release to an arbitrary number of copies, i.e. 391, 472, 128, etc. for the experts: make the first 10 or 15 copies a "special edition" that weighs at least 20 pounds 4) always make sure your editions are small enough so that they sell out before they're sent to the pressing plant. for the experts: don't tell anyone your band exists until your first LP, double acetate, and quadruple 7" have been sold to collectors. |
Jon sent you something new
