I've bought Jane Doe on three separate occasions. It's really, really easy to find.

Txus 11-30-2007 12:41 AM

I never thought I'd say this in reference to anything other than FGOV, but THANK YOU.

btw, did you hear that Rich quit FGOV to do TTEOTD full time now?

He was asking Trevor from With Faith Or Flames to do guitar for FGOV last night.

rid 11-30-2007 11:16 AM

Eh, there are still way more people who consider them metalcore.

I don't care anymore.

encmetalhead 11-30-2007 03:51 PM

no i didn't and their myspace has no mention of it

The Hottness are looking for a new drummer though

Would Between the Buried and Me be considered metalcore? I’m not the greatest at choosing which bands fall in which genres as there’s frankly too many of them and they all share elements with other genres. But that is the beauty of music.

Anyways, if they do fall in the genre then I must say I liked their newest album Colors. Sounded different from other bands in the genre, more uppity in places instead of just angry sounding all the time.

Favorite songs were Informal Gluttony and Prequel to the Sequel.

Mr. Grill 11-30-2007 08:11 PM

they would be one band i would add the word progressive to. but the core has left their sound.

Bridge To Solace's newest album is their best ones before it are incredibly cheesy.
Really? That's the dude on this site right?
Yeah.

How is BTBAM not metalcore?

Invicta_Veritas 11-30-2007 09:05 PM

The correct question would be, "what classifies BTBAM as music?".

masscows 11-30-2007 09:06 PM

well, calling them one thing doesnt really do them justice tbh.

explain your position BRA

i am the robots 11-30-2007 09:09 PM

Metalcore is an extremely broad term though.

Hardcore encompasses a wide variety of music and metal encompasses a wide variety of music, BTBAM doesn't step outside those two styles, except some clean passages.
