That intro. is amazing.

I'm having trouble making the following riff from Lucretia sound good. Every time I go for it at it's normal speed, I get a bunch of ringing notes I don't want. But when I attempt it slow, I can keep them muted fairly decently. I'm just having a lot of problems keeping them quiet when I speed it up. Any tips?

Start slow and then slowly speed it up.
Start slow and then slowly speed it up.
Exactly play it slowly over and over until you can play it in your sleep. Then speed it up a bit and repeat until you can play it full speed.

I do! I can play it all up to speed, I just can't keep my strings quiet when I do so!

I love that intro, with the triplets and everything, so cool. I never really appriciated that intro or the verse on guitar untill I learnt it myself. Top notch song.

I love it except for the fact you can't hear Al's guitar that well.
I love the bit where Dave dribbles.

Jev 10-06-2005 03:35 PM
You mean the whole show?
Maybe, but there's a close-up in Dread and The Fugitive Mind(i think) and you can see a giant glob of dribble fall from his mouth.
