I Was A Kaleidoscope 06-19-2005 07:09 AM

I just listened to Broken Social Scene after ages of hearing about them, but not hearing them.

Just one song so far, though. Stars And Sons. The tune is le catchy.

World/Inferno Friendship Society (just recently discovered and they are amazing. I'd love to see them in concert)
Defiance, Ohio (good folk punk band. My friend went to see them in concert yesterday and I'm quite jealous)
Built to spill (listening to again. Catchy)
Sonic youth (listening to again. Great to develop film to)

I can't wait until they release something official. Even if it's just an EP.

Diggage = !!!

I used to have Louden Up Now when it first came out, then my computer crashed. I just got it from the YSI thread, so I'm listening to it now. I've always though it was, "alright". Perhaps it will give me a better impression secodn time around.

Indeed. They are quite awesome. Have you heard Devin Davis? Excellent guitar-pop stuff. You'd probably like it. You can download a few of his songs from here.

br3ad_man 06-20-2005 09:16 PM

I'll check it out.
