Coalesce is still active. So is Cave In. The Secret is still pretty good. and don't you love Everytime I Die, Converge and This or the Apocalypse? lol

witchxrapist 03-16-2012 01:18 PM

Also, The End Of Six Thousand Years' new album is awesome, and SLOTHS and Divider rule, although those two are like in between metalcore and sludge.

Also, The Acacia Strain's still active ya tards.

TommyOfArabia 03-16-2012 01:27 PM

Omg guise but we came as romans is soooo gewd

TommyOfArabia 03-16-2012 01:28 PM

not sure if witchxrapist is trolling because "a-strain" hasn't mattered since 3750.

MalleusMaleficarum 03-16-2012 01:28 PM

what in the flying fuck are you smoking?

i mean i'll let it slide, since you're new, but you have no clue how much that band means to me, i've seen them somewhere around 15-20 times lol

then again as a vocalist, my opinion is often skewed by bands having elite vocals

MalleusMaleficarum 03-16-2012 01:34 PM

MY DICK NOW LIES IN YOUR ROTTING MOUFFF

TommyOfArabia 03-16-2012 01:37 PM

I'll rephrase. To me 3750 was the only unique, above average album.
I mean, I'll be honest, I sometimes put on "Dead Walk" and I did attend the Continent CD release.

I just don't see them as a stand out band anymore.

Juddybear 03-16-2012 01:38 PM

3750 fucking rules

witchxrapist 03-16-2012 01:41 PM

3750 is great, but it's not very original at all lol.

The whole melodeath + brutal breakdowns thing was huge around 2005.

Here's some namedroppies of bands doing that stuff between 2003-2006:
Embrace The End
On Broken Wings
Through The Eyes Of The Dead
Neveragainforyou
A Long Awaited Tragedy
All Shall Perish
Rifles At Recess
Whitechapel
Job For A Cowboy

My first band was doing that shite, and we were like 15 and 16 year olds lol.

Coalesce isn't active, noob. Cave In is dope ya. The Secret had one notable album, noob.

ETID isn't good anymore.

Converge is still pretty sick.

I just listened to This or the blah blah and it seemed like something you'd like.

witchxrapist 03-16-2012 02:00 PM

I kind of grew out of Coalesce.

???

i like everything besides ox

MalleusMaleficarum 03-16-2012 02:03 PM

Ox is really good, but i can see why you wouldn't like it since they actually implemented other genres into the album

HighandDriving 03-16-2012 02:08 PM

Ox is a failure compared to their backlog. Ya it's a great release in 2009.

We laugh at your failures
