Yeah it does, but you can hardly hear Al's guitar.

Mustainekilsemos 12-28-2005 11:26 AM

Hmm... I can hear it pretty well. Idk. I just got it for Christmas so i'll have to watch it like 500 more times b4 i decide

You can hear it find on the solos when he uses a boost, but Mustaine's guitar is definately alot louder than Al's is.

But I find it's always like that with bands that have 2 guitarists.

Father_Jack 12-28-2005 11:55 AM

Just listening to KIMB remastered. This really was the only album that needed remastering, it sounds so much more listenable.

Lord Abortion 12-28-2005 12:27 PM

That's another reason why 'deth are much better than Metallica, Dave can actually Play the Guitar and do solos, wheras Hetfield...well, yes...

Man Mustaine can solo and sing. There's practically nothing he can't do.

Lord Abortion 12-28-2005 12:35 PM

Exactly, Hetfield can barely play Rhythm and sing at the same time, never mind solo.

Yeah but I like the nice slow solo in Master Of Puppets that James does.

I have disagree, megadeth is my favourite band (and trivium:naughty:) but Hetfield is one hell of a rhythm guitarist, and he can sing as well, Im not saying mustaine cant, but hetfield can as well

Not to start a whole big Metallica vs. Megadeth feud.

But Hetfield does play some solos in Metallica. Like the slower solo in MOP, Nothing Else Matters, he wrote the solo in Fight Fire with Fire, and the solo for Hit the Lights.

But anyways, Mustaine is far better than James.

yeah.
They're both great song writers
Is there a Trivium thread?

*Fixed :thumb:

James' rhythm is a little better than mustaines IMO.

JTFC 12-28-2005 02:01 PM

Is Mustaine really coming back to Megadeth?

silverburst9 12-28-2005 02:03 PM

they're both about the same at singing/rhythm guitar imo. they both have their strong points in those catagories, but imo it balances out. however, mustaine can solo way better, he can be melodic (usually isnt but hey) or he can shred like a mofo. (mustaine > hammet hahahaha)

Bazarov 12-28-2005 02:03 PM
Is Mustaine really coming back to Megadeth?
As far as I know, Dave is continuing Megadeth. He never left, he just made the band die for a while.

Jev 12-28-2005 02:04 PM
Is Mustaine really coming back to Megadeth?
Yes. There may be a new album next year.

silverburst9 12-28-2005 02:06 PM

yeah, from what i read it all went to crap when elfson yelled at mustaine in front of his son. and jimmy degrassio (sp) didnt stand apologize for his gf being all pissy to dave. or somthing like that, i saw it on blabbermouth

Jev 12-28-2005 02:07 PM

They say his hand injury was only an excuse to disband it in the first place also.

JTFC 12-28-2005 02:07 PM
Yes. There may be a new album next year.
That=pwnage-est-news I've heard all day.

silverburst9 12-28-2005 02:07 PM

IMO it was just for publicity

Mustaine is Megadeth.
James' rhythm is a little better than mustaines IMO.
Nah.

Aw3someman 12-28-2005 06:47 PM

His (James's) rhythmn is smoother and slicker than Mustaine's but Mustaine's rhythmns are thrashier and technically more proficient.

I guess this sort of thing is all subjective. Anyways I'm getting kind of sick of always comparing Metallica and Megadeth.

Not that it matters. The comparisons will start again in another 50 pages or so anyway.

OK...people enjoy numeracy, fine.

These comparisons are natrual given the history between the bands.
IMO it was just for publicity
Maybe he started off the tour only planning to do it then give up Megadeth. But along the way he felt what it was to be part of a successful band again and remembered how much he enjoyed playing.
I don't really know. Probably for publicity.

hahaha that sounds way too "It's A Wonderful Life"-esque to be true, but it'd sure be nice.
