It's a long story, and I don't really want to get into details at the moment because there's still a chance that she won't be.

Akira 11-01-2006 05:54 PM

That's cool. I hope it works out.

PaulSimonon 11-01-2006 05:56 PM

Ugh, same here man.

Efrim 11-01-2006 06:24 PM

Hi kids. What's up?

Radiobass81 11-01-2006 07:00 PM

Just finished a 21-page proyect.

And I'm still heart-broken.

I'm wanting to make a poem, but I know it'll suck. Nothing to do with the above, just started reading some Pablo Neruda and I've been wanting to start.

Radiobass81 11-01-2006 07:02 PM

Not really. :(

PaulSimonon 11-01-2006 07:04 PM

Time heals all wounds my friend. It'll get better.

Radiobass81 11-01-2006 07:19 PM

Never read "Los Soles Truncos", I presume :p.

Good little play.

PaulSimonon 11-01-2006 07:26 PM

Hey now, I'm trying to be motivational and uplifting despite being a complete wreck at the moment, give me some slack! :p

kilian 11-01-2006 07:27 PM

Mr. Pickle 11-01-2006 08:05 PM

Ah mujer, no sé cómo pudiste contenerme

qué dolor no exprimiste, qué olas no te ahogaron!

Oh abandonado!
I want to turn this into a song.

Ting 11-01-2006 08:36 PM

Who has used ernie ball strings before?

Akira 11-01-2006 08:38 PM

I've always strung my bass with EBs. What do you want to know about them?

Also, I found this browsing YouTube. Absolutely awesome style.

Care to summarize for those who are failures with anything other than English? I'm not talking about the actual wording as much as the feeling behind it.

I was just wondering, they seem to get start out nice and bright and great for slapping. Then get dull really quick, does that happen for you?

Radiobass81 11-01-2006 08:41 PM

Ernie Balls are great. Cheap, sound good, goor harmonics, etc.

I've had an mp3 of this for the longest time, but never actually seen it played. I don't even know where I got it.

They get dull fast, but I like that. I hate how metallic they sound new.

It's an interesting song for sure.

There is some really good stuff on Youtube. Plenty of bad stuff too, but some real winners.

sixner 11-01-2006 08:45 PM

ive used EB's, but i prefer Roto's... i just wanted to try D'ad's for a change. i know Ben Kenney of Incubus uses Prosteel's, and i like his tone..... ive been spoiled though, ive been using Elixers for the past like... 2 years now. Nanoweb's = sex

Yeah. I just can't comprehend how Charlie Roberts is getting such a good tone out of a Gibson. :p

Skilled bass player.

Unskilled song writer.

The women he loved died, and with that, he lost everything. Now, I'm not sure if he dies in the end, but that's a possibility.
