crap! sorry man, Cliff 'Em All ain't so well known in the UK, well, you sometimes see it in shops but not near as enough as the other three, hence me forgetting. :upset:

I think Cunning Stunts is the best DVD, their performance overall is f*cking great and the destruction scene is incredible :thumb:

it's ok man it's just tyhat cliff is one of my favorite bassists so it stuck out u not listing it.... u should definately check it out.... the quality kinda sucks in the first few songs but it's still cool

there is really nothing to say but practice. that's the only thing that's gonna make you better...try breaking his solo's up into little pieces and mastering those with high speed then putting them with more parts until you're good at the whole thing.

I love Metallica and think that St. Anger and the past couple albums were good, but they really need to get back to their bread and butter, blinding speed, and guitar theatrics. I heard that Kerry said that too. Whatever though, Kirk owns him. Kerry might have him in the speed category, but he just can't compare to Kirk's pure musicianship.

Anyone see that rolling stone mag top 100 best guitarists. And they made kirk 11th? And that Jack from the white stripes was 6th or something?! something is wrong with that. And Angus Young was 96th?! Van Halen was 70th or something along with Randy Rhoads? That magazine was totally wrong and it totally pissed me off

st.Anger was metallicas worse album in my opinion,
the greatest was master of puppets. RIP cliff burton- hes my idol
their best songs are: battery, MoP, for whom the bell tolls, one, trapped under ice, fade to black, welcome home, unforgivenII, nothin else matters, enter sandman( ov course) and anaesthesia ( from a bass point ov view)

You should check The Unamed Feeling, hell of a song. People should give St-Anger a chance. It sounds weird and boring at first but after a few listenings it grows on you big time. It's a very good album and if you have a good stereo system at home, crank it, you'll see the drums sound way less annoying :lol:

i dont really know why people think kirk is overrated, i think hes underated if u ask me. people say mustaine is better yet be just plays really fast. kirk has way more complexity and thinking in his solos, and all of them match the song awesomely. Ya on this one think they had top 100 guitarists of all time, kirk wasnt even on it. WTF is that! O well in Guitar World he was rated number 2 behind Tony Iommi
