ScorpSath 09-08-2004 03:43 PM

weird.

risbo 09-08-2004 03:46 PM

What's it about?

PaulSimonon 09-08-2004 03:48 PM

*In an official sounding voice* ATTENTION ALL MXERS!!! Please proceed calmly into the closest video rental store and rent a copy of THIS IS SPINAL TAP!!!! *Voice off*

Foxfire 09-08-2004 03:50 PM

Oh! I got the Blockbuster thing where, for a month, I can rent as many movies as I want, renting two at a time. When I go back, I'll pick up that movie.

And Matrix Revolution, even though everyone says it blows.

Badass:

Avatar just came out with new 2x10s that look badass. The old 2x10s were supposed to be as good or better than SWRs. :D

nisakss 09-08-2004 03:53 PM

Matrix revolutions seems to blow at first, but if you see it for what it is it is quite good, especially since is ground breaking stuff in that it includes fights generated by computer (and its plain to see), a music video, and buynch of other stuff our culture has produced reunited in one package.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-08-2004 03:53 PM

That is a weird pic

I was actually one of the only one of my friends who liked it.

risbo 09-08-2004 03:56 PM

PaulSimmon can get some girls with those I bet.

Edit: talking about the speakers... damn these threads move fast.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-08-2004 03:58 PM

Is the matrix Revolution the 2nd or 3rd one i have seen 1 and 2 but not 3

ScorpSath 09-08-2004 03:58 PM

nisakss 09-08-2004 04:00 PM

Foxfire 09-08-2004 04:01 PM

I bet I could.... How about with a 1x15 Trace Elliott comboi at 150 watts? It'll move some girls....

nisakss 09-08-2004 04:04 PM
Revolutions is the third :p Reloaded was the second.
You're abosulutely right, you SOB. :p

Foxfire 09-08-2004 04:05 PM

I can't decide between a 2x12 + 1x15 or a 2x12+2x10...I'd get the Roland DB-500 but my guitarist is buying a 120 watt Marshall half, hahaha.

PaulSimonon 09-08-2004 04:07 PM

I'd go with a 2x12 and 1x15 myself..... Punch and lots of low end.....

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 09-08-2004 04:12 PM

Hey, i just had the best practice session ever. i decided to focus on slap, so i worked on slap/pop stuff for an hour and a half. I havent had that much fun in weeks, every thing just fell into place. :) these riffs and arpeggiations and chords came out of no where. I dunno, i was talking to the guy who is going to be my drummer last night, and i we kind off figured out the direction my band is going to take, i want to add more dynamics, so i figure im going to slap a portion of our songs. Its going to be great.

bottlerocket 09-08-2004 04:16 PM

^ Yeah, same thing happened with my band. We're playing a show on Halloween, so we're opening up with the Halloween intro (go figure...), but after, there's this long pause where they gave me like, a minute slap bass solo. I just improved at practice and it sounded so sweet...we're thinking of making just one funkish song so the bass can go crazy in it.

Here here! Bass is getting recognized around here (Boston) :chug:

Good luck in that BFAG.......

PaulSimonon 09-08-2004 04:33 PM
