Wow.

I've had one of the soundclips from the 'Drum Licks from Hell' playing on repeat for the past 5 minutes. (Vinnie on Nik Kershaw's Don't ask Me)

Vinnie's mind just works on a level beyond everyone else.

It's funny how everyone is commenting about his tuning, how it seems impossible or something to tune a drumset decently.

Medium if so.. i wouldn't stretch that out too far. Simply orchstrated singles, but there was no complex phrasing by any means.

I'd comment, but my volume's at near-muted. My bird would be ripping my jugular out if it were not.

Bonham#1! 10-26-2006 07:15 PM

Damn I wish I had a jugular ripping bird. What kind is it.

Loser 10-26-2006 07:18 PM

Brotogeris Pyrrhopterus, grey-cheeked parakeet.

It's a little too small to actually rip out my jugular, but its bites are very painful, especially when on its neck.

It once pierced a friend's lip.

Sunshine 10-26-2006 07:22 PM

Well, at least s/he didn't have to pay x amount of money for it.

They are highly regarded drums

Aaron 10-26-2006 09:45 PM

Mmm they are. for good reason too!

Sunshine 10-26-2006 10:40 PM

Oh man.

I'm so going to be 300 pounds when I grow up.

I love eating way too much.

Win A Rabbit 10-26-2006 11:05 PM

I try to eat healthy, and do so for the most part, but lately, my dad's been bringing home so much junk food. He owns the golf course (including the kitchen), and the golf course closes for the winter, which means a ton of chocolate bars, pop and juice for us.

Plus, I found a secret stash of those tins of assorted chocolates that I don't think anyone else knows of, I snack on those every now and then.

But I'm burning it all of though. I've burned 1300 calories in the last 2 days on my mom's elliptical. That's pretty good for me, seeing as half a year ago I never exercised. Yay dedication.

A lady friend just told me she's moving away next month, and she's begging me to go toa party with her tomorrow night. She keeps talking about sex. This is a weird position for me. I don't wanna just sex her because I won't see her again, but I don't want to refuse to go to a party with her.

LoneStarDrummer 10-26-2006 11:31 PM

you can eat what ever you want as long as you're willing to work it off. i eat junk food and large portions of foods that are rather unhealthy and i manage to maintain my weight through regular physical excercise

exactly.

I eat pretty healthy, not very athletic, but I keep my weight down (because of my active metabolism, I've been underweight my whole life, at least since puberty)
