I dunno, there might be an odd metal band i like, i have yet to have found any i do like.

That's how I've seen them classified. Tbh with the vast majority of music it's your approach to it that defines it.

I.e. Mika's just ****

But with Kyuss, and what rock's come to mean lately, I'd say they're more metal due to subject matter and tone. They're more a sunn/down/clutch thing than a led zep or who
