Tattoos are like religion, an entirely personal decision, so shut up.

I have a Rancid tattoo, a Minor Threat tattoo, and soon a Johnny Cash tattoo. Sure, their meanings will fade and I'll probably be like "Oh, cool, a lame black sheep" someday, but I'll also remember a very special time in my life when they, and the music they represent, meant the world to me.
I like the way you think about tattoos.

Religion is a personal decision? Then why are most American children forced to go to church?

And great for you and your tattoos. I'm sure it was worth the money and risk of skin cancer. Just make sure you read what I said. "Band tattoos". I have my own tattoo. I don't support band ones, or political ones. You go for whatever you want. I'll remember my Rancid days(now) by looking at the records and playing them.

I'll add on, I support taking off warning labels from things.

Hammer. Nail. Head. Etc.

(r)evolution 08-26-2005 04:39 PM

I agree, tattoos have to be very personal. For example. the one i was talking about represents something means more to me than anything else in the world.

Just shut the fuck up. Really. You're being a douchebag.

Jessizzle 08-26-2005 04:41 PM

A top hat tattoo would be cool, Cause Top Hats remind me of the album Crime Of The Ceuntry by Supertramp, and thats me and my dads album.. He played it for me when I was a baby, and he still does..
Religion is a personal decision? Then why are most American children forced to go to church?
Because they're children who have to listen to these things we call parents. Don't worry, tiger, as soon as you're out of the house you can totally skip church!

And yes, it was worth the money and the risk, and the memories. And I have more than just band tattoos, so whatever.
Just shut the fuck up. Really. You're being a douchebag.
Why? Because I point out the fact you're probably going to end up regretting those tattoos, mainly as they fade and your skin wrinkles and they look ugly? When Rancid "sells out" again and you decide you don't like them anymore? Just being a thinker, not a douchebag. "Sorry" that I don't blindly follow you. What was I thinking? Punx is about doing what everyone else does and getting tattoos all over your body and getting drunk and killing people.

sketchyjoe 08-26-2005 04:43 PM
No. I did. But I never mentioned post count. Would you like to go quote it? I'm sure you're already there re-reading it so you can post it here to feel better about yourself.

I thought about a tattoo remembering my uncle, but I don't think I really want that. If I ever do get married and have kids, most likely the first son will be named Daniel as a better way of remembering him.

No ,because you're telling people what to do with themselves.

Now you're gettin' somewhere. After all, I'm all about the punx.

Jessizzle 08-26-2005 04:45 PM

Chris, I still <3 you.

CombatRock 08-26-2005 04:45 PM

My first tattoo is going to be one of Joe Strummer or a DKM one!

Eh, atleast that has some meaning to it. Keep in mind, most tattoos are walk ins were a person pretty much randomly picks a tattoo off the wall. Keep it meaningful. Keep it personal. I've meet too many people with Casualties tattoos who quit getting drunk and now regret it more than anything.

Coming from the person that tries to tell people off in every post by calling them stupid because he disagrees with their opinion.

Yeah, someone is trying to make them feel better about themselves on the net. It's just funny you try and act otherwise! Great strategy, you cunning internet user, you!

(r)evolution 08-26-2005 04:46 PM

the worst tattoos are the pointless ones that are just there to look "cool" like skulls and topless girls, they just look cheap and sleezy

I know, I am pretty cunning.
No ,because you're telling people what to do with themselves.
Yeah. I really told you what to do with your life by saying "PS. Don't get a band tattoo." That would stop you from doing anything.
PS. Quit breathing.

I want my eyebrow periced... Does that cause problems when waxing eyebrows tho?
And stuff in japanese/chinese
They can be alright. You just have to know how to read the language. Think of the tattoo artists that got arrested for tattooing cuss words on to people instead of "Hope" "Wisdom" etc etc.

I've applied a year-long waiting period before each tattoo to make sure it's what I want, except for one that remains maybe my favorite and most meaningful, which happened to be a walk-in.

My point being, you can't judge anyone, because it's an entirely personal endeavor. You have no idea what's going on in their mind/soul/life.

Waxing your eyebrows is totally un-punX.
