Yuo've never once told me what you think of bristol uni, even though i'm probably going there in october.
Hey, sorry! It's a good Uni, for sure. Lots going on in the city, although last year one of the best clubs in the city closed down, it held an awesome rock night. You could literally rip the chairs apart and just chuck glasses at the wall and nothing would happen to you.

If you haven't applied for a hall yet, I'd recommend Badock Hall, it's the best one in my opinion. Cheapest bar, got tennis courts, squash courts, an amazing TV room. Like 6 leather sofas round a big plasma screen, then loads of other chairs for just chilling out in in the rest of the room.

Worst thing about it is people tend to move quite far apart in the second year, but the way I see it, it just means I don't have to see the people I don't want to see anymore!
How was Amsterdam? I wanna go.
It was pretty awesome. Plenty of drugs, plenty of sight seeing. The zoo is absolutely awesome, they've got some nuts monkeys in there.

And I saw something that actually made me question reality! We were walking through the centre, very stoned, and there was a guy having a conversation on a street corner with a plant pot on his head, with a flower in it. It was a "Wh-wh-wh-wh-whaaaaa?!?!" moment. We pissed ourselves laughing!

In conclusion, GO!

Does Badock hall have m00sik practise rooms pls?

And which block is it in? The one that's 1/2 an hour out?

Also RU reading physics

Pastorius 04-08-2007 11:14 AM

Yeah I'm doing physics. Don't ask me much about the first year though, I was an asshole and flunked the first year. Had to resit all my exams, and let me tell you, it's not fun. Go to lectures!

I think I've heard a few bands around Badock. They say no amplified instruments, but I had my bass amp up there and no-one really cared. My mate who had his room next to mine had his amp up too. It's in Stoke Bishop yeah. That's what did me, I was a lazy turd and couldn't be bothered walking to Uni. It's good for your health though, the walk.

I'm thinking about going to try and get in Bristol. Good uni for law I hear altho' they require 3 A's I think.

Jev 04-08-2007 12:32 PM

EDIT: "You must spread some reputation around before giving to Happy again" :(

Jev 04-08-2007 12:41 PM

Pastorius 04-08-2007 03:24 PM
I am this summer :D
Oh sweet, dude, where are you staying? Might have walked past it or something.

If you visit the red light district, keep an open ear. I literally got about a person every 2-3 minutes offering me coke.

Jev 04-08-2007 03:26 PM

Haven't sorted anything yet :(
I got offered coke in russia :)

Pastorius 04-08-2007 03:31 PM

Well I can only really give you my opinion on 2 of them. But I saw a few hostels dotted about when I was walking around the centre.

You have have HAVE TO get a Wok to Walk. And a FEBO. Wok to walk is an absolutely lush chinese place that's takeaway style. Hard to explain.

FEBO is a burger vending machine chain. The nicest sauce I've tasted in a while.

Only want ABB for me which is low for physics

Pastorius 04-08-2007 03:35 PM

Ha, not Gareth. Never heard of a Gareth doing physics! I do know a few other people who flunked first year though. Saw a lot of them during resits!

EDIT: I got ABC and they let me in for Physics.

Ah i think Gareth flunked his optional maths module

JUST SOME GUY

that i know

Pastorius 04-08-2007 03:51 PM

He took an optional maths module?

I don't want to know him. Oh man, anyone who's doing first year physics is going to have Dr Z. She is literally the most mind numbingly boring person in the Universe.

And she knows like half the people who made the theories she's teaching.

Patrick O))) 04-08-2007 06:40 PM

Noooooooooooooooooo come to leeeeeeeeeeeeeds :(

ChodaBoy 04-08-2007 07:54 PM

Come....as you are ... as you were

God, i'm so unfunny

Patrick O))) 04-08-2007 07:59 PM

you're also up late ¬_O

I'm off now actually, I got work tomorrow

In a bit

How could somebody called "Doctor Zed" be

a) Boring

b) Not a supervillain

Jev 04-09-2007 05:24 AM

Maybe the Z stands for Zomgboring?

2muchket! 04-09-2007 10:25 AM

I'll get ABB easy. It's putting that to AAB. Which is what I think is the minimum they require

Jev 04-09-2007 10:27 AM

I'm gonna probably end up with EEU

Mexican Bandito 04-09-2007 10:31 AM
