Hopesfall will be worth it, though.

I happen to like the other bands, but even if I didn't, I'd go just so I could see Hopesfall again.

Brandon: I don't really listen to many bands who are like Hopesfall. :-\

oic :(

Which bands are accompanying them?

Mute Print 11-09-2005 07:25 PM

At the show here it's Funeral For A Friend, A Static Lullaby, Love Hate Hero, and The Rival Sonata (local).

I suggest checking out The Rival Sonata just because they rule.

I'm boreed. Nothings been going on really all day, in the Blink thread no ones posted for the intire day, which is pathetic :(:p.

Good eve, Pop-Punkers.

B 11-09-2005 08:07 PM

Hey James.

Pop-punk has been so slow lately :-\

cobert 11-09-2005 08:13 PM

Hopesfall are allright, but i only have A Types, which i hear is their 'bad' CD.

I bought 'The Artist In The Ambulance' 2 months ago, and im just listening to it now. First 2 songs were good, next 2 were boring, and the fifth song is upbeat and catchy.

Gnarmageddon 11-09-2005 08:15 PM

How can you not like 'All That's Left' and 'Silhouette'? Those are two of the best songs of the album, in my opinion.

cbmartinez 11-09-2005 08:17 PM

"Paper Tigers" is the best track. So br00tal, especially live.

cobert 11-09-2005 08:19 PM

Its not that i dont like them or theyre bad or anything, they were just kind of boring.

The 7th song is sweet.

It has, deffinatly. I'm in need of a life..I have little to do, and I've realized I listen to few pop-punk bands..therefor being in this place is just weird unless your main threads are going.

TAITA is amazing live too. I felt when I saw them, that and 'Deadbolt' transferred best to a live environment.

To be fair, it was at a festival, and what sounds good at a festival in front of a crowd of 40,000 isn't always the same as what will sound good in a smaller venue.

Gnarmageddon 11-09-2005 08:22 PM

Wings On Peregrine = best song on TAITA. Then Don't Tell and We Won't Ask. I haven't listened to TAITA in a while, but those are the two that stick out in my mind every time it's mentioned.

"Hoods On Peregrine?" :p

It's alright. The "I'm breaking down" part is good.

Mute Print 11-09-2005 08:28 PM

I think Chris was right when he said "Paper Tigers" is the best track.

I love that whole album though.

Yeah, everyone sang along to TAITA and "Stare At The Sun (Acoustic)." It was so nice.

La, La, LaLa, LISTEN TO YOURSELF!

cobert 11-09-2005 08:33 PM

Bloodclots and black holes is pretty cool.

Someone tell me what the next CD i should find/buy should be.

billiejoe84 11-09-2005 08:33 PM

I hope Thrice tour the UK again soon. I've been a little underwhelmed by a lot of the new album, but I'd love to hear some of it live.

Although I am generally too poor to go to shows these days anyway, so I'll probably miss them anyway. The only upcoming show I have for definite to look forward to is Capdown in a week or so. Should be fun, especially as Death Defying Life (the band whose drummer has offered my band a support slot) are supporting. They rock \m/

The Illusion Of Safety is their best.

Well, I just got Rufio - The Comfort Of Home, Big D And The Kids Table - How It Goes, and Zebrahead - MFZB. All are mint, and I would recommend. Assuming they are your sort of thing... I guess all three are a bit love-or-hate.

Edit: Did you mean by Thrice, or just generally? If Thrice, what Chris said.

If not, what I said.

Mute Print 11-09-2005 08:36 PM

Good call with How It Goes. Awesome album.

cobert 11-09-2005 08:37 PM

cbmartinez 11-09-2005 08:39 PM

In Pieces- Lions Write History

Mute Print 11-09-2005 08:39 PM

If you don't have them already, I highly recommend Mute Print or Ruiner by
A Wilhelm Scream.
