Well, that was just an experiemental song. I wanted to keep it basic 8ths on that acoustic bit for now because it was just a layer of the song.

I like the bit with the bass and drums, but i dislike the rest of it... Writers block... I'm not used to writing a guitar lines and so forth. I want to be able to compose something i like though, which sucks because i can't.

Pretty music so far. The Program he uses for his strings is real nice. I like microtonal vocal line in Phantasy.

Yes he is very good. This BBC song makes me think of shakti. Probably my favorite band so thats a good thing :p

maniac0796 10-25-2006 06:43 PM

I never saw that BBC thing, but now i think of the galapagos islands and the type of music that'd fit with a documentry of that type, i think he hit it quite well

Corkofski 10-25-2006 07:54 PM

oshi, dialema!

basically, im having a party this sat, and my dumb **** of a mate told this chick, who while shes a nice enough person, last time turned up and stole all her drink from my dads stash, at a BYO party. shes phoned me, and left a message, saying can she and her 2 mates come. if they do, it will increase the single bird to jonny ratio greatly..

help?

Bonham#1! 10-25-2006 07:57 PM

Let them come?

Corkofski 10-25-2006 07:58 PM

but all bad **** at last party was her doings?

Loser 10-25-2006 08:00 PM

If the only bad **** at your last party was your dad's booze getting stolen, you could simply hide it and let her come.

Bonham#1! 10-25-2006 08:02 PM

Yeah well then I gues you should "lay down the law" or keep an eye on her.

Sync0pation 10-25-2006 08:05 PM

I saw chili peppers yesterday at philly

TMV sucked, they did an hour long jam session with seemed like it never ended

Chili peppers completely rocked the stadium, full house, it was insane

They played the popular songs from all albums,
Can't stop, by the way, readymade, dani cali, snow, blood sugar sex magik, etc etc.

Chad smith ripped all the songs apart with his Ceelite drumset (lights up when you hit it), it was amazing to actually see him groove in real life. Like you hear his amazing sounds on the Cd but when you actually see him grooving on the hihat its something else. Then in Hump De Bump they did a section where he improvs with some grooves for a bit and it was ridiculous. I died.

My seats were decent, nothing great, but it was life-changing nonetheless. Best concert I have been to.

Damnit!
Your too smart Futuro.

What do you call that than?
Relative Pitch?

MatthewMeredith 10-25-2006 08:12 PM

There's a kid who my x-girlfriend likes who has perfect pitch. It's ridiculous. You can sit at a piano and play any 5 notes in any octave and he can name them to you. Absolutely amazing.

Anyways, anyone know why Phil got banned? I'm kind of scared...

ofDooM 10-25-2006 08:15 PM

kitty spam.

MatthewMeredith 10-25-2006 08:17 PM

Harsh... I only saw it in one thread... Did I miss something?

We_Love_Lime 10-25-2006 08:21 PM

Like 5 other threads.

We_Love_Lime 10-25-2006 08:33 PM

Relative Pitch?
Well, There is something considered perfect pitch. But tell me how does someone with "Perfect" pitch react to something not in equal temperment tuning? To really have perfect pitch would take hundreds of years probably.

I just used relative pitch to figure that was a C# As I knew his root note was an E. All the rest of the notes he used were in Em except that C#.

We_Love_Lime 10-25-2006 08:38 PM

No idea Futuro.

Well like, it's crazy how you knew his root note was an E, unless he told you or something.

Maybe I'm just missing something though.
Nvm.

Aaron 10-25-2006 08:39 PM

I have what people consider perfect-pitch. I can't play with someone when they're out of tune. it seriously bothers me. it's not just a gift..
