That first C# doesn't go to well IMO.

Use more creative phrasing, straight 8ths is about as boring as you can get.
There is a lot of dissonance at the end between the bass line and guitar part.

IT sounds like you need to learn some theory, keep practicing though.

I burnt 700 calories on my mom's elliptical today. 45 minutes of hard workout, then jammed to some James Brown in the shower. James Brown is total shower music.

Well, that was just an experiemental song. I wanted to keep it basic 8ths on that acoustic bit for now because it was just a layer of the song.

I like the bit with the bass and drums, but i dislike the rest of it... Writers block... I'm not used to writing a guitar lines and so forth. I want to be able to compose something i like though, which sucks because i can't.
