how manytimes do you come down here, where do you live??

i live in san jose, but my sister lives here.... some day im going to drive down here by myself so yeah, we dont come down that often.

you guys can drive down to hollywood at the end of april to see my band if you want ;)....too bad we are the opening band out of 9? we haven't even had a show yet, and we've booked the whisky.

oh yeah, anyone can let me borrow their rig, as all I have is a fender rumble 100, and I could use a little more.

well, i have some bad news for everybody (figured to say it in the casual instead of making a thread). I was released from my band today :upset: . It wasn't me at all, It was my situation. See, I'm a college student in NYC, and my band is from nearby. But I live in PA, so it wouldn't work out in the summer they said, so they let me go today instead of waiting til later and stringing me along. I'm mad, but I"ll get over it. But on a lighter note, they all were like saying how great of a player I am and i'm a rare breed and stuff, so that made me feel better. Plus I'm hanging with my drummer (well, ex-drummer now) this weekend and him and I are still gonna jam still. Well, that's my sad news for the day.

That sucks, but at least they told you.

Yeah, and don't get me wrong, they really felt bad doing that. But it was for the better of the band. It wasn't anything personal, it was just my situation that sucked for me. Watch this, they won't find a good enough replacement and will call me back. :lol:

Apart it from being a bit stupid to make a thread of one solo versus another I don't think he deserved to be completely shot down like that.

first off, I think calling maxwell murder a joke is an ignorant and childish thing to say. Granted you cant really compare Myung to Freeman but they are both musicians, and people (us bassists exspecially) should respect that and not b!tch about another bassists style of playing.
