I haven't made a thread in awhile, so if none of you are going to read my reviews, then read my friggin' MX post and download the songs.

It's also requested* that you give some feedback on the songs.

*required

Shred Danson 05-13-2005 02:10 PM

 You're not going to force me to listen to Memento, dude.

and Kentucky is in The United States of America (to InChains 36)

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 02:13 PM

MXican - Happy birthday.

Today's events couldn't have been more comically tragic had I planned them myself.

ATM 05-13-2005 02:18 PM

Good afternoon guys.

MB - Nice vidoes. I wasn't digging the vocals though.

I went to a Kasabian show last night, and it was excellent

Tonight is Porcupine Tree

Chris (cjborton) is on his way up. And another MXer (SeasonOftheMad) is coming to the show as well.

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 02:33 PM

Jom, I'm downloading Stare by Memento right now.

Lord Abortion 05-13-2005 03:02 PM

Bartender 05-13-2005 03:03 PM

At least you get paid for it, I suppose.

Nope, I hear they are great live.

GurS 05-13-2005 03:34 PM

I read your post saying that before. I still haven't got it because I have heard it is over rated off quite a few people and it is more expensive than the rest of there albums

Illmatic 05-13-2005 03:40 PM

Dang.

I want to pick a new major but nothing else really jumps out at me.

Distant Echoes 05-13-2005 04:08 PM

Whatsup Thread?

Im on a crazy downloading spree, i cant help myself. Thankfully i work enough this weekend to temporarily stop destroying my computer, which i have a bad habit of doing.

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 04:09 PM

I just got back from exercising for an hour, all the while listening to metallica.

The hour considted of 20 minutes weight lifting, 40 minutes jogging. I feel like crap.

Hello all.

Illmatic 05-13-2005 04:12 PM
Major in women, and minor in girls, like an old man once told me to do
Hah. That made me chuckle.

Unfortunately, it doesn't help me much.

Also, my gf got a summer job at her dad's office on Monday. She just called today to tell me she quit.

CemetaryGates: one hour of working out made you feel like crap? WTF?

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 04:14 PM

Keep in mind:

Me = a pussy,
Me = 13,
Me = Morbidly obese.

Distant Echoes 05-13-2005 04:14 PM

40 minutes jogging...i would never do that voluntarily. I recently had to run the mile for physical fitness and only got 7:39. I was disgusted.

lunch998 05-13-2005 04:17 PM

I played this weird hybrid game of ultimate frisbee and two on two basketball, that was surprisingly fun. Very tiring though, as you would know if you've played ultimate frisbee before.

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 04:19 PM

If yall think I'm a pussy now....

In my right hand, six pounds, left, 5.

I ran an average speed of 3.5 miles per hour...
Be kind.

lunch998 05-13-2005 04:21 PM
CemetaryGates: one hour of working out made you feel like crap? WTF?
Running for 40 minutes straight is tough on most people I think. Even when I was in great shape it was no easy task.

But playing pick-up basketball of small football games, soccer, frisbee, etc.. is much more tiring than just running.

Illmatic 05-13-2005 04:22 PM

Hah.

"I could never understand how people got fat. Personally, the day I can't even see my dick anymore is the day I stop eating." -- Denis Leary

At any rate, I've run for an hour and a half/two hours many times.
In my right hand, six pounds, left, 5.

Are you kidding me?

You're THAT out of shape?

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 04:26 PM

Age: 13
Weight: Past 200

son of a bitch :upset:

lunch998 05-13-2005 04:27 PM

Fat people aren't always skinny and then they grow fat, its just natural sometimes.

Illmatic 05-13-2005 04:28 PM
Age: 12

How did you get that way?

Distant Echoes 05-13-2005 04:28 PM

That is out of shape. Im surprisingly still in shape (not muscular, but just 'in shape') even though i stopped playing organized sports two years ago. I eat like a mad house too...thank God for my high metabolism.

And theirs defintaly more out of shape people around here. I think Ive seen some pretty bad lows

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 04:29 PM
How did you get that way?
The age part? Going that long without dying.

The wieght: Most likely me not giving enough of a damn to do anything about it.

Also, the charm of a hamburger far surpasses that of exercise.

Illmatic 05-13-2005 04:30 PM
Fat people aren't always skinny and then they grow fat, its just natural sometimes.
And sometimes they get fat because they are overfed and don't get enough excercise when growing up.

lunch998 05-13-2005 04:31 PM
And sometimes they get fat because they are overfed and don't get enough excercise when growing up.
Well yea, but in response to the Dennis Leary joke, it's not always their fault.

Illmatic 05-13-2005 04:33 PM
Also, the charm of a hamburger far surpasses that of exercise.
I like burgers too. But either you eat too many of them or you just sit on your ass all the time.
Well yea, but in response to the Dennis Leary joke, it's not always their fault.
I know, but I think with a lot of fat people these days it IS their fault.

Woodstock 05-13-2005 04:33 PM
Well yea, but in response to the Dennis Leary joke, it's not always their fault.
Even if it is genetic, you can always do something to lessen the effect.

lunch998 05-13-2005 04:34 PM
I know, but I think with a lot of fat people these days it IS their fault.
Yea, I agree. I just didn't want to accuse the kid of it before we knew his deal. Turns out it is pretty much his fault anyway.

Distant Echoes 05-13-2005 04:34 PM

You cant blame somebody for not liking food. Its more hereditary...or just in your genes. Physical Exercise is defintaly on my list everyday with just playing any sport i feel like - usually basketball. Speaking of food, i gotta eat dinner.

And you gotta stay in shape for the ladies...who could forget...

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 04:34 PM

I've gone on diets before, but I used the excuse "People should like me for who I am" to make myself say screw it.
And you gotta stay in shape for the ladies...who could forget...
Of course
Turns out it is pretty much his fault anyway.
STFU. :upset: By the way, you're not telling me anything new.

Illmatic 05-13-2005 04:35 PM

DE: I know.

I can see someone not going to the gym everyday--personally, I hate gyms. But I never understood why someone wouldn't go out and play sports outside if it's nice out.

CemetaryGates9 05-13-2005 04:36 PM

Gym = You have to be in shape to go to the gym. Or so they say

Sports = You're opinion is very biased.

Yes, but you should like yourself for the way you are, and it doesn't seem like it.
