there is no di'anno on the edward the great at all, which is a downside. also, its nearly all singles (except FotD at RiR), so you miss out on a lot of good songs.

but it was my first maiden album, and its still good.

It's so good.

Iron Maiden is the greatest band of all time Murray and Smith are great, so is Gers and Harris. The riffs are great and the bass lines are just as good. The Lyrics make you think, and Di'anno and Bruce are Awesome.
I like Di'anno best, who's w/ me.
My favorite songs in order are:
1. Purgatory
2. Phantom of the Opera
3. Murders in the Rue Mourge
4. Powerslave
5. Invaders

Speaking of the self title album, I really like Strange World. I wish Maiden would have written more balads, I also really like Prodigal Son and most of the ballads Bruce wrote for his solo albums. Oh and I like Journeyman as well.

I dont really like Di'anno too much as a singer. Rather have Bruce any day. Edward the Great Album was alright. It has quite alot of the classics on it but it dosnt deserve the title Edward the great since its only an average album.

yeh well he made the effort.

i like di'anno's singing, although bruce is better. di'anno's style was better suited to ther first albums.

For some songs yea but i just couldn stand his voice for some of the stuff he was singing. I'm just hopeing maiden will be around for a very long time. Has anyone seen that maiden tribute band thats made from girls. I say well done to them but really it's funny to see them play. I'll get a link in a bit for you guys.
