I couldn't get mine printed :( |
went to a festival yesterday that had de la soul and hilltop hoods playing
i felt heaps bad for de la soul, like they are this massive hip hop band whove been around for like 20 years (and they kept saying this trying to get the crowd to realise who they were i think) but the crowd were basically like 'meh' and there was a fairly small amount of people compared to other bands i thought, which sucked. they had really bad sound though which i blame the sound people for, they werent loud enough at all and when they came on stage they had no volume to their decks at all, just the PA and the guy behind the decks started to crack the shits with the sound people. they got better towards the end, and the crowd actually did get into it for Ring Ring Ring and Saturday, which was cool hilltop were really good though, they got a massive crowd and everyone was really into it, sounded really good and played some of their new songs from the new album. nothing amazing (i saw them play with the full string section for The Hard Road Restrung which was awesome) but still a really solid gig |

ok so I thought I didn't like Illmatic until I really listened to it with my good headphones. I guess I didn't use to like that gritty sound like on 36 chambers and illmatic, but now I can't get enough of it.
|
lol i listen through a $700 audio interface which uses the same DACs as the flagship pro tools audio interface and pretty decent monitors (krk rp5s)
and i still think illmatic is boororringggg in terms of the music |
yeah my headphones broke, and they weren't really anything special, but now i have to listen to everything on some poopty earbuds and everything sucks i don't even want to listen to music ugh
|
i have awesome headphones but they're too huge to be portable at all, i need to find some decent earbuds
|
you should buy some $100 earbuds it would totally be worth it
|
i love my $100 earbuds they totally make my ipod baaaaaaaaang
