I saw an ad in the newest guitar player with Dave adveritising Tascam product. So how many/which songs has Metallica recorded that Dave claims he wrote/helped write?

There are metallica songs that he really did help write. Ie, Four Horsemen, Ride the Lightning (song), and a bunch of stuff off No Life 'Till Leather.

I never said he didn't write some of them, but some of the songs he says he's wrote (Call of Ktulu) that it can't be proven.

Oh Call of the Ktulu can be proven. Look at the credits on the RTL album and the RTL guitar book. You'll see mustaines name up there.

Ok, well I just wanted a list of songs that Dave has written for Metallica.

The only song I can think of that Dave has claimed writing, without Metallica acknowledging it themselves is Leper Messiah I believe... Well I think I read on MX somewhere Dave has claimed he helped write it, but I don't know the authenticity of that...
