i don't break them all the time i'm just very poor... all my money goes to gas/insurace/car payments. so i rarely have extra money for anything. i bought a pair of 5A's and a pair of 7A's like 2 or 3 months ago and the 5A's are too worn down to use, and the 7A's broke. and all my old sticks are also too worn down to use. i had some cheap sticks i bought that i later found out were warped (couldn't tell before i opened the pack because they were pre-packaged, like 20 for 30 bucks or something). anyway they were made of this really soft wood besides being warped so i hate using them but i think i might have to for a while.

my technique is fine. i usually get the extreme 5A's and one pair will last me 2 or 3 months by itself. i like them because i like sticks that are a little longer but not incredibly long. and the 5A's feel a little too thin but 5B's are a little too thick. so the X5A's are perfect for me. but last time i needed sticks the music store didn't have them. and i didn't feel like paying shipping ordering them online for 1 or 2 pairs of sticks. i can't afford to buy anything in bulk. so i just got some normal 5A's. and of course they only had one pair. so i got a pair of 7A's just to see if i would like them or not. i like them ok but they're too short for me. anyway now i need new ones.

although if they would actually give me free sticks i think i'll try asking pro mark about that.
