I only have 2 classes today though, and I'm home by 1. College > high school.

I did the math, a high school student (at least here) spends 35 hours a week in school, I spend 10. I learn about 5 times more as well.

Oh definately, I can't wait to get out. I sit there for 7 hours a day, learning things I already know at an ungodly slow pace, living at home in a little redneck town with nothing to do in any town less than an hour away, and no car (although I may be getting a nice honda for like, $400 soon.)

sketchyjoe 08-25-2005 09:11 AM

I got £20 today from my grandparents formy A-level results.

Jessizzle 08-25-2005 09:22 AM

you know your towns boring when for fun we hang out at the local music/skateshop and smash streetlamps.

superskankinactionhero 08-25-2005 09:26 AM

darn hooligans

shane italian 08-25-2005 09:41 AM

There's so much to do in the area, but we insist on just going to the same pool every night and belly flopping off of the high dive for hours until we're too tired to keep doing it. Then we go and get some donuts.

Jessizzle 08-25-2005 09:54 AM

And we finally got a local venue almost a year ago, Awesome place, lots of room. Well The owners a crack head and is closing down at the end of augest, meaning 2 out of the 3 shows we have booked are no longer happening.

shane italian 08-25-2005 09:55 AM

I would suggest moving sometime soon.

Jessizzle 08-25-2005 09:58 AM

Its not bad. Only 25 min train ride to toronto.
Wanna buy it for me?
if it costs <1,000 USD, yes.

Anyway, I think I'm going to print out a million coppies of that myspace bullitin that was going around a while back about not supporting the troops, and go to a Wal-Mart and stick it under every Support Our Troops magnet I see.

When I'm older, once I've made my fortune by forming a corporate merger between Pepsi and Coke, I'm gonna turn my house into a dancehall.

You'll do no such thing

Pete 08-25-2005 12:43 PM

My 5-year plan;

I buy a lottery ticket.

I win at least te equivalent of $200,000.

I buy a small house in the woods that I convert into a rehearsal room/studio/maybe even mini-venue.

Yadda yadda.

Live happily ever after.

pedro durruti 08-25-2005 12:59 PM

I'm going to become rich by inventing the first hover-shower

Pete 08-25-2005 01:21 PM

Why would a hover need a shower? I'm sure you have it figured out though

Just you wait, you'll rue the day you mocked Copsi.

/laughs diabolically

But on a less maniacal note, I'm reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. It's good. I suggest all of you read it. Go.

Anxious 08-25-2005 01:35 PM

Screw those consiperacy (sp) theory books.
