it's pretty hard to OD from snorting. most heroin deaths are due to slamming bags that you don't know the purity of or mixing heroin with other drugs. there is a very small chance that i will die if i continue to snort and not shoot up.

alcohol is worse for you physically than heroin. most of the danger comes from going to seedy parts of town, sharing needles and unknown purity. if you avoid these things then it's fairly safe

maybe you should try getting your information from sources other than after school specials and hearsay

like i said i hardly ever inject, that's much more dangerous than the route of administration i use (snorting). and you are comparing "a few beers" to shooting up which isn't really a fair comparison. i'm talking about fairly large amounts of alcohol an amount that an alcoholic would drink to get drunk because that's comparable to an amount a junkie would snort to get high.

heroin is a lot more addictive but it really isn't that dangerous to snort it. it's more harmful to your body to drink. liver damage, brain damage etc. snorting junk only really causes nose tissue damage

the merits? i'm not saying it's good for you. the merit is that it gets you high. my point is heroin is mostly bad for you because it's addictive, not because it's physically dangerous. why are you implying that i said it's good for you or harmless?

I'd probably murder people in the streets if I went more than a couple days without meat.

I've done a few things where I've gone a month or so not eating meat and I thought I would miss/crave it but I really didn't.

I definitely give credit to the vegetarians out there as it forces you to be creative with your meals.

As much as I'd love to try and go vegetarian, I wouldn't survive family holidays. Plus a vegetarian Jamaican is kind of an oxymoron...
