I can see them getting under the emo banner, but really they sound more like a emo-tinged hardcore band more than anything to me. On like the same level as Defeater and End of a Year.

Yeah they're very much on the hardcore end of the spectrum, but they give off that vibe to me, and some of their parts are very screamo.

Like the first riff in Honest Sleep.

They sound like they really like Thursday a lot of times too. That and Geoff Rickley guest spot.

They're kind of like the band for kids who got into hardcore since 2010 to use as a way of saying they like "real screamo".

It's whatever though, they're a great band.

I don't even go to those shows anymore though, I've been going to more hipster "indie emo" revival shows anymore, just because the shows are so fun.
