Hey great list. But I would have replaced War Pigs with Symptom Of The Universe. And Sabbra Caddabra with Sweet Leaf but otherwise thats what I would probably choose.

dr._feelgood 10-29-2005 08:20 PM

Which Sabbath album should I get next, the self-titled or Volume 4? I only own Paranoid.

blue3 10-29-2005 08:25 PM

Both are good. I like self titled more though.

The Vivid One 10-29-2005 08:26 PM

I have Sabbath's first four albums. SBS will be my next purchase. So for a while I have been wondering which should I get as my sixth BS disc: Sabotage or Heaven & Hell?

Vol.4 is my favorite. Vol.4 is more intresting/daring, heavier, kicks more ***, and has more songs. But you can't go wrong with self-titled either, it was the second Sabbath album I got after Paranoid.:thumb: :thumb:

'Heaven & Hell.' In my opinion, it's the second best Black Sabbath CD of all of Sabbath's history.

dr._feelgood 10-29-2005 10:15 PM

What would your best be?

rippa32 10-30-2005 01:51 AM

I agree what that Heaven and Hell is awesome, but also am curious as to what is your favourite classickrockman, if that is your real name.

blue3 10-30-2005 05:11 AM

Yeah, I'm sure that's his real name..

The only other Dio album I have is Dream Evil, its one of his most underrated albums (I think).

Its worth buying though.

rippa32 11-01-2005 12:12 AM

It must be good to name a band.

blue3 11-01-2005 12:20 AM

Look guys, I saw Ozzy. I suck at taking pictures.

Okay anyways, I'm listening to War Pigs. Paranoid is awesome.

rippa32 11-01-2005 07:14 PM

Where was that taken from?

shadow_stalker 11-02-2005 11:48 AM

Hollywood walk of fame i would think rippa...

Josh 11-02-2005 02:01 PM

lolz @ Andy's avatar. i would guess Hollywood walk of fame as well for that picture as well though.

anyway, other than Dehumaniser, what Sabbath albums did Dio do? i'm thinking about getting another one.

Brew 11-02-2005 02:23 PM

Heaven and Hell
Mob Rules
Live Evil

Heaven and Hell is an essential purchase.

And Mob Rules wouldn't be far behind if the production didn't suck balls..:)

Josh 11-02-2005 04:39 PM

blue3 11-03-2005 12:22 AM

rippa32 11-03-2005 03:40 AM

On that page there is the gatefold picture to We Sold Our Souls For Rock 'n' Roll. I think brum has a very special edition.

Good job Brumm's not on line after that comment....

And their (note spelling) greatest album is certainly not Paranoid

No.

Each to their own opinion, but still...

No.

Agreed (That it isn't their best, I prefer SBS and a few others) but why do you hate Paranoid so much? War Pigs, Planet Caravan, Iron Man and Fairies Wear Boots are top notch songs, Paranoid and Electric Funeral are good and catchy if not brilliant, and the other two aren't bad either.

rippa32 11-03-2005 10:23 PM

I only really still listen to Electric Funeral and Faires Wear Boots myself.

rippa32 11-06-2005 08:54 PM

This thread is dying again. Trivia again. Two questions.

What Deep Purple singer was originally intended to sing on Tony Iommi's original solo album?

Who was actually playing with Tony but not considered a member of Black Sabbath because there was no band at the time?
