but if Toronto was the capital, then the rest of the world would know

from what i gather, the rest of the world, or USA at least, from what i've seen of the ignorance of the world/some countries at least, a lot of people seem to think Toronto is the capital city of Canada.

RTL - I currently have a little 20 watt combo that does the trick for home practice. Most of the places i gig, have amps....so i dont really need to rush out and buy one. But if dad is prepared to pay the money for the amp i want ill be going that.

Bass wise, i own a cort c4 (will be selling if i buy a newy) and a fender am deluxe p. So i dont really need a new 4 string, coz ive already go to awesome ones. I really want a 6 string, and getting a 7 just gives me that extra string and that extra attention value :P joke......

Spaceman Spiff 12-31-2004 09:06 PM

after i get my SR 506, the amp i think i will get is that Hartke one, the 3500 something or other with the 3500 head and 4x10 combo amp.
yeah.

ridethelightning 12-31-2004 09:10 PM

im getting an avatar b212
and either a carvin r1000 or the ashdown mag h that avatar is selling,
it depends on my finances, i need 200 more bucks to fully cover the carvin, and i could get the ashdown now, but i think ill wait out for the carvin

id get a rig first
it will make the basses sound a hell of a lot better
then get a 6/7
if you get a 6/7 now, it wont sound too good.

Alma 12-31-2004 09:12 PM

that's cool.
how long of a drive is that for you?

i know that for me it's only a 2hour drive to get to Buffalo, where i went one time just fo the hell of it with my fmaily.

if osmeone agreed though, you could always get it shipped to an MXer who could send it to you.

hmm, yeah.

but i really really want the GK 1001RB II and the goliath, id need to save about another grand, and that would take me over a year considering i dont have a job. I mean so what i the 6/7 doesnt sound good on my amp, it matters that it sounds good at gigs, and i wont be using my amp..

 it seems that i am on the basses side haha......

It depends on the money man

Spaceman Spiff 12-31-2004 09:24 PM

so, we're getting to the end of the wire.
i've got 1 hour and 40 minutes left of this year, and, noting special happened.

except there's this girl i go to school with who i'd like to ask out, but i'm not sure what the response would be.
see, i've got this sort of suspicion that she likes me, but i have no way to find out for sure...... hmm......

ridethelightning 12-31-2004 09:26 PM

i know what you mean

i have no job, im 14,
all i do is shovel snow, i get about 10 bucks every time, maybe 8 if its not alot of snow, or 15or more if its alot,(like today, 3 feet of snow on an entire driveway) i made 30 bucks. now im at 200. my moms paying 650. i need 150 more bucks and im good
