Hey guys...how easy would it be to create a guitar pickup or effects pedal from scratch?

I would say quite difficult.

And Kif, I love that song, that video kinda sucks.

Making a single-coil pickup wouldn't be too hard, it would just look very bad. I can't remember exactly how but we did about it in music tech.

They are on the cover of this month's Big Cheese magazine (Which I need to start getting, if I can find it anywhere). I don't know how it happened, but they started getting airtime and now they are everywhere. Most likely because their singer sounds a little like Patrick from Fall Out Boy, but whatever. I still love them.

The Fall Of Troy were robbed in Spin's Band Of The Year polls though against P!ATD. And that is unforgivable.
