 How many of you are going to see this? In theaters!! It's not a DVD release. :) .
  /creams pants |
Well unfortunately all I have is a clip with Pigs and the intro to SOYCD. It really drives me crazy, it gets right to the end of the build up and cuts off.
You should cheak E-bay for it, that bootleg is one of the more common and well known bootlegs. The copy I have is called Pigs Might Fly? but sometimes its under a different name, look for the date July 3rd 1977 at Madison Square Garden. |
I just saw a trailer on the TV about Walk The Line now in theaters.
WTF Are they replaying it cuz it was so good or something? |

I also love my Pink Days and Fat Old Suns one. |
Out of curiousity, for those who have been to many concerts, what would be your all-time favorite concert performances?
This came into my head because I was thinking how that night I saw Alice Cooper may be a contender for the greatest night of my life.
Clapton was the best. Alice Cooper was sweet and I was right at the gate for it (even caught some stuff) but he couldn't stand up to seeing Clapton. |
f***ing awesome
Seeing a guy get stabed is "****ing awsome"?

Could someone send out the last three tracks of Green Onions? They won't extract for me.
40 Least metal moments? Weak! What were some of the examples of "least metal moments?"
The guy from Motley Crue doing the chicken dance, Some guitarist/frontman knowing ballet. The whole thing was just so sloppy. VH1's a joke.
np: Dead Kennedys - Hyperactive Child
How are they? I read that their music is at times unlistenable. |
How are they? I read that their music is at times unlistenable.
I think theyre great. Though yes, they do have their bad moments. |

No Jello is perfect all the time (We can forget Bedtime for Democracy, mkay?) I keep meaning to get his work with the Melvins. The bass work is very good in a bad way. |

WTF Are they replaying it cuz it was so good or something?
They don't often do that with movies, and this one wasn't THAT good, so I doubt it. It's probably just still playing some places. If it still makes money, and theres room, they will keep it. |

I have it, mines called "Who Was Trained Not To Spit On The Fan?" |

I've never heard anything unlistenable by them. I love them, amazing hardcore punk. The other day I picked up Bruce Springsteen's album Born to Run the other day, its amazing. I thought Bruce was only ok untill I really started listening to the music. I was hooked as soon as I heard that line "In the day we sweat it out on the streets of a runaway American dream." For some reason that line compleatly opened me up to him I just really liked it when I heard it. Though my favorite song is Backstreets.
Has that ever happened to anyone here where just one day you hear one line or riff from a band you don't listen to much and just were instantly hooked. Samething happened to me when I heard Havana Affair by the Ramones. |
I hate Bruce Springsteen. We figured out who likes/hates him in this thread some 20-30 pages back.
I got hooked on Symphony X after hearing Inferno(Unleash the Fire). That song is amazing. |
god i hate springsteen.
"the boss" hate him so much. |

I love that song, it's so epic. I remember around two years ago, I was just getting into Bob Dylan. The first thing I heard by him was "The Times They Are A-Changing", and after I listened to it all the way through, my jaw was practically on the ground. np: Pulp - Mis-Shapes |

Illmatic might like him too. Everyone else pretty much hates him though. Backstreets is my favorite song too. I have the Born to Run 30th Anniversary Edition with a live DVD from '75 that has a really long live performance that is just amazing. Backstreets off of that is just amazing... I'd highly suggest the box set just for the concert. Great stuff. If you liked Born to Run, try Darkness on the Edge of Town next. The lyrics are very dark, unlike Born to Run's hopeful feel, but musically it's similar sounding. Then Springsteen's acoustic stuff like Nebraska is great too. |
No, I like him.

It sounds like I'll like Darkness on the Edge of Town a lot. |
Hmm, Backstreets is a good song, but I really don't like anything else by Bruce. I'm not a fan of his voice or his overall sound.
|
I like the E. Street band, but not Bruce.
:) Max Weinberg drums on Conan. |
Yeah Bruce was a very different direction for me. I usually don't like music where the guitar presense isn't huge like on some of Spingsteen's songs, but well like I said for some reason everything just sort of clicked in just a moment.

Shame on you. How could you hate the Boss, I mean he's the Boss, c'mon the Boss how could you hate the Boss. I thought it was impossible to hate the Boss, I can't believe you don't like the Boss. I'm doing that everytime I hear about the Boss hate from you PF, mkay? New CD's: Perry Farrell - Song Yet To Be Sung Kyuss - ...And the Circus Leaves Town U2 - War (For the 4th time) |
The first time I heard "Blowing in the Wind" I was hopelessly addicted to Bob Dylan.
How did Springsteen get that nickname anyway? |
How did Springsteen get that nickname anyway?
One time when he was a lad he got thrown in jail for drunk and disorderly, and he did some...things  |
I never would have guessed...
Top 40 most metal moments, in that case \m/
I believe that was the 40 least metal moments. I dont really agree with the Bruce dinkinson taking fencing thing. |
