raz0r 02-09-2007 02:39 PM

If Cynic don't tour here on their reunion, I'm going to be pissed off.

They should get aghora to support too, and get sean to play instead of giann.
If I saw those two bands live in one night, I could die happy.

the_pure_drummer 02-09-2007 02:41 PM

Ill die happy when i have my dream drum kit ;D

The Ska Man 02-09-2007 02:47 PM

Is it wrong that I found this funny?

--According to bassist/singer Mark Hoppus of Plus-44 via the band's mySpace, drummer Travis Barker is slowly recuperating from his broken arm that he suffered in October while he was playing drums. Doctors would later announce that his bones are incredibly brittle and hypothesized that it is a result of Barker's vegetarian lifestyle (http://www.sputnikmusic.com/news.php?newsid=2442).

Barker will now wear a thingamajig called a bone stimulator to try to expedite the healing process. Doctor's other orders: a casual return to the drum kit as rehabilitation.

At press time, it is unsure as to when Barker will be fit enough to return to the band as it tours to promote When Your Heart Stops Beating, +44's debut.--

I mean, injury to Travis Barker alone is funny, but he sustained it while playing drums?

What The Flip?

Little Android Man 02-09-2007 02:48 PM

Bullsh!t that he got it from a vegetarian lifestyle. Humans are omnivores...they don't NEED meat but can eat it if they choose.

the_pure_drummer 02-09-2007 02:56 PM

I like meat :D

Travis is a gay and the minimum wage around here i think is about £5.30

That's the national minimum wage.

Oregon was 7.50, but they bumped it to 7.80 starting this year.

maniac0796 02-09-2007 03:30 PM

America is cheaper to live in though...

Loser 02-09-2007 03:39 PM

Cheaper than what, Oregon? Oregon is in America.

Can't be...at least not for long. They raised the national minimum wage to $7.25 I believe.

Stickman Sam 02-09-2007 03:46 PM

Minimum wage in the UK = £5.05.

I should know, I earned it 9 hours a day every day last summer :S

Kit was worth it though

I know, not in a good mood today this evening.

I think the main reason is i turn up to band practise and find 3 of my bassists mates sat there smoking a joint each, and that kinda pissed me off, trying to set up my kit in a cloud of weed smoke.

Hmmm

Ah, it's alright dude. I hate it when band mates just want to smoke pot/ drink whatever, if they want to do that outside of band time, then fine, I might even join in, but NEVER during practice.

maniac0796 02-09-2007 03:57 PM

The worst was last week, when my bassist came stoned, and has this thinking that he plays better stoned.

God he was awful.

What happened to Dave Grohl and Janeway, i miss them both!

Berk 02-09-2007 04:01 PM

So I thought of a name last night, I was going to write it down.

I CANT REMEBER IT.
