i dont like run and gun games as much so it works for me. not every game has to be a GoW or CoD clone.

at least have an option, even if it's wildly inaccurate.

also, the weapons in dead space have such large projectiles it's not terribly unrealistic to be able to move more.

so yeah bro, it's SERE for me. i picked six jobs i liked to do (pharmacy, aircrew life support, environmental, fire protection, mental health service, histopatholoy) and i'm getting my ID back tomorrow and my diploma. im just really hope i can pass the physical - i'm paranoid they're gonna find something wrong with my back or something and i'd be stuck with one of the six jobs for fours years. kinda scary.

the PAST im not worried about at all.

idk i thought that dead space relied too much on the jump scare + violin shriek combo. i didnt really get a 'paranoid' feeling from it. cryostasis did a much better job at creating paranoia tbh.

again i really liked dead space, one of the better games of the past 2 years, but i think re4 and 5 did a much better job of creating tension. playing 5 on veteran with swarms of zombies running at you is alot more tense than slowly building violin shriek crescendos and 1 or 2 aliens popping out of a vent.
