Omega Red 02-20-2005 05:16 PM

woot i got my looper pluged back in

cliffburtonrules 02-20-2005 05:20 PM

Sorry man I was in another thread for too long....

I sincerely apologize.

I'm listening to and playing along with Losfer Words by Iron Maiden

nisakss 02-20-2005 05:25 PM

Don't worry at all.......cool, I used to listen to Iron Maiden all the time, but now I can't listen to them for too long.....age I guess......

cliffburtonrules 02-20-2005 05:36 PM

Hmmm, the only thing I found dissappointing was that when they perform live (Rock in Rio DVD, and other live shows I've seen on DVD) Steve is not as loud as on they're records.

nisakss 02-20-2005 06:15 PM

Don't get me wrong, I still love them. But, it's just that before I could go to sleep listening to them, now I seem to get enough of them pretty soon....

cliffburtonrules 02-20-2005 06:20 PM

Hmmm......

well I'm gonna go. My eyes hurt from the computer.

See ya later.

Thumb_bass 02-20-2005 06:22 PM

I don't like Maiden......

Fernandes Power 02-20-2005 06:23 PM

Maiden are great.

Metallica are best.

Thumb_bass 02-20-2005 06:26 PM

I'm in to newer stuff...the oldest bands I listen to is Pantera and Morbid Angel, maybe Opeth. Don't know how long they been around....

...Avenged Sevenfold and alllllll that crap, are NOT metal.

NWOAHM=Emo rejects with average-ish double bass drummer and lower tunings.

Fernandes Power 02-20-2005 07:03 PM

Thats the stuff that isnt metal, but gets called metal by people that have no clue.

Kayetan 02-20-2005 07:11 PM

Mr. Jiggy Fly 02-20-2005 07:17 PM

Hey guys, Ive been looking into buying a new bass. My choices are Warwick Thumb 5, Spector Euro Neck Thru 5, or Musicman Stingray 4 or 5. What do you guys think? I play funk and hard rock/ metal btw. And I slap a lot. I like growl too. Any suggestions?

gaslight 02-20-2005 07:18 PM

From what I've heard I think you'd like the Warwick basses.

Left Shoe 02-20-2005 07:19 PM

warwick

Omega Red 02-20-2005 07:19 PM

spector bolt on, you know that

rybass 02-20-2005 07:19 PM

I played a Euro bolt-on Spector yesterday and I loved it. I'm sure the neck-thru is even better.
