the new wilhelm scream ep is pretty tight, i like how poppy it is

RetiredAt21 12-04-2009 01:27 PM

I cannot stand that band tbh.

Iluvatar 12-04-2009 01:31 PM

i used to be like that but i came around. one of the most fun bands live.

funny story once i had to piggyback their singer back to the house they were staying at in gainesville he was so trashed. good job wilhelm

kitsch 12-04-2009 02:01 PM

their older stuff isnt as good imo

cobert 12-04-2009 02:36 PM

Ruiner is a tight album.

I saw them at some show that was poorly promoted and most people there only showed to see their friend's bands, so by the time AWS came on there were only about 40 people left but a lot of them knew all the words so it was mad fun.

Iluvatar 12-04-2009 04:09 PM

ruiner and career suicide are awesome. Australias and Skid Rock off their new ep are tight as hell as well

Mute Print 12-04-2009 05:07 PM

I love A Wilhelm Scream (obviously).

The last time I saw them was at my school's Spring Fest. They played first and all the college bros just looked confused. I didn't even know they were playing, since they weren't listed anywhere, but it was still cool.

cbmartinez 12-04-2009 06:31 PM

ugh a wilhelm scream i always thought that band was unbearably bad

RetiredAt21 12-04-2009 06:32 PM

Vocals bothered me more than anything else about them.

chrisbarnesfacialbongscar 12-04-2009 06:48 PM

i could never stand them either :o

boundbytransience 12-04-2009 07:15 PM

One of the best bands out there right now.

boundbytransience 12-04-2009 07:15 PM

In melodic hardcore, that is.

IgniteYourAvail 12-04-2009 08:59 PM

A Wilhelm Scream rules so so hard.

lynch_me 12-04-2009 10:18 PM

This is cool http://pitchfork.com/tv/#/episode/2049-wesley-williss-joy-rides/1

RetiredAt21 12-05-2009 08:43 AM

I like Phoenix Bodies even though I don't listen to them terribly often.
what have you listened to?
raise the bullshit flag. i know exactly what i dont like about them, i just cant explain it.

Gnarmageddon 12-05-2009 05:47 PM

ah. well that's definitely their best. they kind of took a bit of a different style with their newest stuff, Mutton Dagger. might be worth a shot.

cobert 12-05-2009 05:51 PM

just watched some clips from the lil wayne documentary.

he's actually ****ing crazy.

cbmartinez 12-05-2009 06:26 PM

yea my friend keeps saying how good that documentary is, he says wayne is drinking sizzurup the entire time, what a dumbass

cobert 12-05-2009 06:46 PM

He's like a big baby. And in every interview he does he seems spaced out and answers questions in weird ways. In one interview somebody asks him what he would do as president or something along those lines, and he says he would "legalize prostitution in about 5 more states, legalize weed first and second, get rid of child support," and make it so in divorces the woman doesn't get anything. I'll probably get around to watching the whole thing some time just because it's too much of a train wreck to pass up.

I finally checked out ...To The Beat of a Dead Horse in its entirety. It's really, really good.

IgniteYourAvail 12-05-2009 09:31 PM

Uhh, what? To The Beat of a Dead Horse is pretty damn memorable.
