Yeah ... I'm trying to branch out in my musical tastes. Recently, I've bought a bunch of Cds without ever having heard the band ... but just recognized their name from one of my friends mentioning them.

I just got the Aytreon cd, it's so good it's not funny. Mikael Akerfeldt and James LaBrie on the same album? Michael Romeo on guitar? Come on now.

Stuff 12-31-2004 03:46 PM

boarders and boundries is really good. It's not the bassist's best album, but its the bands as a whole best.

Yeah, I've only listened to a couple songs off of it so far, but I am enjoying thoroughly.

Has no one else heard of Aytreon?

i went to a friends aunties place last night, it was pretty fun, i was having a great time (pissed off my face) Well anyway, when we got back to his place they couldn't find one of their dogs. After 20 minutes of searching the house they decided to go out to the streets. She (the dog) was found on the main road, some one had run her over, not on purpose of course but we will never know since we weren't there and the person must have driven off. My friend and his family have had the dog for 8 years. I was shattered since this guy is like my best friend and i have had countless ocasions where i would play with the dog. What a ****ty ending for a ****ty year. And what a ****ing ****ty start for a **** year to come.

madthumbs 12-31-2004 04:02 PM

Man, I'm really sorry to hear that. It's always sad when something like that happens.

Hopefully she didn't suffer. :upset:
