Is it still under warranty? I'd take it back into the shop and demand they fix it for free because last time they didn't fix crap. Maybe that's only how it works here though.

It's a custom PC, hence why so much was spent on it, so warranty is out of the question.

The individual parts don't have warrantys on them? If it's a pretty new comp I bet you could send the vid card back to the manufacturer for a new one.
