Ok....I have to go see my dentist today. He's gonna be appalled, I have a really bad habit of not brushing :(

I love going to the dentist. Any time I go there (whicn, since I no longer have braces, isn't very often) they call me in there to sit in the dentist chair, and then forget about me for a half an hour or so. So I get a nice nap in.

I just hate it. I have ultra-sensitive teeth, and I was blessed with no emamel, so not only is it always extra-painful, I usually have at least one or two new cavities, no matter what I do.

Yeesh, that sucks.

I feel really lucky that I have no cavities. Also very suprised by it.

The only time I was mad at my dentists was when I went in for a routine checkup (I think) and they pulled out two of my teeth to prepair me for braces. That was okay, but then without telling me, they also put on my top braces. I took the bus home with gauz in my mouth, totally unable to talk, and drooling blood. I looked like the craziest person on the bus.

Getting teeth pulled blows. I had to get all 4 of my canines out at one time for my braces. My teeth look nice now though, so I guess it was worth it.

My dad told me about one time his dentist took him out for a beer after freezing his mouth. Apparently all the beer just fell out of the side of his mouth. :amaze:

I have really messed up teeth, because I refused to get work done when I was younger, but I don't really care. I saved my parents a ton of money, so they should be greatful. I'm like Jesus.

I've had 6 teeth pulled in my life. Two on the time they gave me braces, and 4 when I was in second grade. The first time they did it, they gave me a bunch of shots in my mouth, which hurt a lot, but the numbing didn't begin, but they still started pulling. It was horrible pain.

:lol: yeah, trying to eat or drink with your mouth all numb is quite the task.

After my dad had his wisdom teeth pulled (or a root canal, I don't remember, I was only 4) he was on a ton of vicodin, and we lost him at this street fair. Not good. We eventually found him at the bar.

before I got braces, I had to get a tooth pulled and then they cut open my gum to put a brace on the tooth the was up there that was coming in sideways. It was really weird.

I could hear all the scraping inside my head.

These are tales of horror. I have wonky teeth, but I didn't like the feel of the braces and I stopped putting them in. But my teeth are super strong, and the only thing that the dentist ever had to do to my teeth was fill in a chipped tooth. I never used to brush either.

I got into a bad habit of not brushing because even when I didn't brush I'd never get cavaities, so I never bothered. But when I switched dentists from a child dentist to a regular one, I get to find out I have early stages of gingivitis. I never bothered brushing my gums because it hurt and they bled and I never listened that it would get better if I did it more.

I brush everyday now, but mainly because we got an electric toothbrush and it makes it all much easier and does a better job then I could ever do.

Not brushing your teeth is gross. do you really think other people want to taste what you had for lunch? i dont think so.

Only in the morning if I've hadn't eaten anything and it's still morning mouth taste. But other than that, it doesn't really bother me.

I brush my teeth with Hydrogen Peroxide. I do it 2-3 times a day, though. I dislike the taste of mint greatly. That and flouride is toxic to your brain. After brushing with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) it feels like you just brushed with fresh water. It's great.
