Waaay better hits to setup in big band too! Tons of fun. some of those tunes are a screaming fast pace too, makes the "speed metal" fanboys look like sludge.

Setting up shots is so fun.
In a combo, its a lot more improvised and unpredictable so there aren't really many opportunities to do much setting up.

Last weekend our highschool jazz band had a gig, and our band director went insane or something and decided we should take Sing, Sing, Sing at a ridiculously fast tempo. It was kind of cool, although I did have a couple screw ups because of the speed.

AHHHHH damn the bands at my local sence, hell anywhere hours around, suck nuts.

It reeeeally makes me want to rush along my personal band.

yeah, setting things up and accenting the brass hits are what its all about. I think those two things are the main aspects I love about Big Band drumming.

So I just found out that at a party on friday (which I was at but left early) one of my friends (who was a virgin) got it on with 3 chicks while they tied him to the bed and put makeup on him. :lol:

He described it like a total drunken orgy. :lol: I'm proud of the guy. He'd been trying for the last year atleast, and finally it happened in a way that totally pwns 99%+ of first time experiences.

the ironic thing is, although they're often portrayed as being dirty and skank, most prostitutes will make men use condoms/protection.

We had a whole talk in year 9 about sex ed and STD's and stuff. The woman explained that if they get pregnant or infected, they have no job, so keeping clean and using protection is their number one priority.

HAha except condoms don't protect against infections. Some, maybe at best against HIV more then most. More then 3/4 of them it'd make no difference. They just prevent babies.

Why don't they get real jobs, then they don't have to worry about that...
