It's a happy new years...IN MY PANTS!

...New years are never as nice as people think they're going to be. Don't hype ****, especially since the year change has very little impact on anyone's schedule.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-31-2006 10:34 PM

I only look forward to a new year because of like, starting off with a new beginning, kinda. Otherwise, I just go on living life like usual. Like I'm supposed to.

Eliminator 12-31-2006 10:36 PM

it's not a new beginning

it's just a number changing

DJ Ducksauce 12-31-2006 10:37 PM

23 more minutes.

BridgeToSolace 12-31-2006 10:37 PM

It's not a new beginning at all. You'll go back to school on Tuesday the same way you always go, and you'll be treated the same way you're always treated.

If neither the environment nor the things inside of them change, then why would there be any difference whatsoever?

"Because it's a new year, silly!"

Yeah, good point :D
23 more minutes.
Haha, suxx being central time.

Jon: I call it a new beginning as a way to start over and forgive yourself for all the **** you've done.

BridgeToSolace 12-31-2006 10:42 PM

If you can forgive your wrong doings based on a insubstantial calendar, then you have very shaky morals.

Which of course you have, being a woman and all.

DJ Ducksauce 12-31-2006 10:44 PM

Chels: nah, not really.

TV shows and such come on an hour earlier for the big stations, so we don't have to stay up as late. :)

And Jon for Sexist PPotY.

BridgeToSolace 12-31-2006 10:47 PM

Speaking of sleep, my schedule has been really freaky this vacation.

I've been going to bed at 9-10pm and waking up at 2-3am and then staying up for the rest of the day. Trippy ****. I never EVER used to wake up that early.

I actually really liked it, too. I doubt I'd be able do duplicate it in a school context, though.

Umm, okay?

Y'know, I need someone like you in my "real" life. Someone that can put me in my place. :thumb:

Justin: Oic.

Eliminator 12-31-2006 10:53 PM

2007 will suck for me.

You know, so I can put something in your place :naughty:

DJ Ducksauce 12-31-2006 10:57 PM

Jon: Wow, I could never do that. I can barely force myself to get up till after 8 on non-school days.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-31-2006 10:57 PM

Jon: Orly? :naughty:

edit: Hey, they eyebrows move faster than usual. =\

I really hate sleep, though. It's boring as hell trying to go to bed, and no one ever feels good when they wake up.

And it's so much wasted time. Life is short, and you shouldn't be spending 1/3 of your freaking time sleeping. It's crap.

So I sleep as little as possible. Which is about 4-6 hours a day.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-31-2006 11:08 PM

I hate not getting enough sleep. I fell asleep when I was babysitting on Friday. And I fall asleep in school all the time. =\

Jon, you have a very interesting point of view on sleep.

BridgeToSolace 12-31-2006 11:12 PM

Something about not being conscious doesn't seem appealing to me.

I've tried to fall asleep in school and I've never been able to.

If I only get four hours of sleep, I usually start falling asleep in my (extremely comfortable) computer chair. In such cases I take a nap for an hour or two. I hate sleeping more than that. It's like "Bye-bye, day!"

I love the lack of responsibility that comes with being a kid. And I'm scared to **** of the adult world and a 9-5 job with two weeks vacations a year. I want freedom to last as long as possible. And that means being conscious through most of it.

DJ Ducksauce 12-31-2006 11:16 PM

Haha I love sleep. It means less time for me to be bored with life.

And I feel good when I rest well.

Days when I have little sleep makes me perform worse in class/sports.

Of course, I love caffeine as well though.

Oh yeah, New Year.

wewt.

kthxhai

This

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-31-2006 11:18 PM

Yeahh. Waking up for school is already a drag. Especially when I'm used to sleeping my day away. So I'm also not looking forward to a job. That's why I'm focused on getting good grades to get the job I want. And hopefully, that job does not include waking up early. :(

Justin: I love sleep too. Cause I get to relax and do nothing. And I also have amazingly crazy dreams.

TheBigMachine 12-31-2006 11:21 PM

What is your dream job?

DJ Ducksauce 12-31-2006 11:21 PM

Haha dreams are so much fun. :)

...Then you wake up. :(

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-31-2006 11:22 PM
What is your dream job?
Being an astronomer or an astrophysicist.

Justin: I know, it suxx!

Eliminator 12-31-2006 11:22 PM

I'm going to make music that nobody will ever hear, remain lonely and in solitude for the rest of my life, and most likely die a lonely and depressed man.

Promising.

BridgeToSolace 12-31-2006 11:22 PM

We've discussed it before.

She has a poor concept of what job she wants, and she wants the job for the wrong reason.
