You dont have to hold it Traditional. You can play match. I reccomend looking through that Vic Firth website. There is a [B]TON[/B] of educational material there.

And John Wooten has insanly clean hands, he is allowed to look funny ^__^

So, I made my first heterosexual sim couple.
Sven and Galchenka. Sven is basically the male version of Jeri Ryan, because I read a story once where Jeri Ryan got a sex change, and I was a little turned on by it. I love them both. Like, my favorite sim couple ever.
Too bad their family includes Neil Gaiman, Fatty fat Robert Smith, and Trinity.
I don't like any of those sims. Robert Smith managed to get electrocuted, set the kitchen on fire, and let the TV get stolen.


My grandma has a kidney stone, and she's had to have the operation or whatever post poned twice because of the storm. Now the tube they stuck up there is falling out, and my mom has to go yank it out for her.

I am not envious.

Yay I might be in a jazz combo soon. I'm excited!
I don't have a whole lot of experience playing in combos, so this should be good for me. I play in big bands a lot more so it should be interesting.

Plus we're going to get to go to a fairly big jazz festival near here. I was so mad that I didn't get to go last year :(.

I never liked playing in Jazz Combos in college. However, playing in Big Band back in High School was so much more fun. I dunno, I think I just like the style of drumming a lot better.

I see Big Band as a lot more up beat, energy, etc that brass section can just kill it sometimes!

Yeah, I absolutely love playing with big bands, but it will be a good experience for me to play in a combo too.
Big band drumming is just so fun for some reason. I like the style, and its pretty cool to know that you're in charge; you're driving the band.

My highschool big band kind of sucks though, sadly :upset:. I've played with a few other big bands before that were really good, and then afterwards I was sad that I had to go back to a band mostly made up of people who don't really care about music and don't practice.
